Don't use anything but t2 and *cheap* faction stuff. Amarr Navy eanm etc. Dreads are seen by many as being very disposable. If you get caught you die. If its a big fight you die regardless of fittings.
The fitting depends on the alliance. Often it'll be mostly trimark rigs. t2 rigs are not worth it until you get to motherships/titans.
Look at a big alliance killboard for ideas or use something like: 1x sensor booster 4x cap rechargers
1x dc 3x eanm 2x mag stabs 1x car
3x trimark rigs

Quote: A dread is a big investment, so it makes a lot of sense to faction (perhaps even officer) fit it as much as you can, with such a strong tank you would be foolish not to treat it as a project and get all the best stuff you can for it.
Best usage is probably to jump it into lowsec (using a cyno as described) and then to camp a gate with it. If you put your alt into a tech 3 cruiser with plenty of sensor boosters, you'll be able to tackle and survive the gate guns while the dread enters siege and kills entire gangs.
I recommend that you camp the sendaya / doril gate near curse as it has lots of traffic and is a great place to get juicy kills. Alternativly, you could cyno it into Providence and go ratting with it, imagine how fast you would clear belts out!
If you want a cyno, hit me up in game, ill be happy to help you out.
ROFL ;D brilliant post

Seriously?
Sell your ship and buy something else, buying a dread for just station games is stupid. If you have truly played for 1.5 years you think you'd have learnt this.
Unless you in an alliance/corp that likes to shoot capitals or POSs then there is little use for a dread.
PS: But if you really want to, Oulley is an awesome place to try this....

they work. Usually carriers go for cap regen, dreads for buffer (3x tri, or 2x tri, 1x ccc). Cap is usually the least of your worries when the shooting starts.

Just one added concern for the Moros - make damn sure you have T2 sentry drones and use them at all times. Its main weapon damage is pretty much crap compared to other dreads, but this is compensated for by its extremely powerful drones. ----

If you are only planning on using it for station games I would not fit a siege mod in case of "oops I sieged moments" and getting stuck outside for 10 minutes and getting hot dropped.

BTW I am not trolling.
I have played for about 1.5 years and accumulated about 2 billions.
I have bought the bellow fit for about 1.35 Billions. Yep, with both T2 rigs and most capital modules, and off course, I will use commander modules instead of T2 when I get my skill ready for flying my Moros.
I still have 100 days of training to be able to fly a Moros with all L4 and L5 skills. So I am starting asking now, I am not dumb, just green.

Take down damage mods and put as high resists as possible - your damage comes from drones anyway, and replace the eccm's for a scrambler and an extra webb.

Oh yes, your deffinitely gonna need boosting that pitifull 400 dps - drones do 1000, that can't track a freaking bc in orbit - scram + webb on it, instead of high ehp for when someone notices your activities and decides to gank you. --- I smack just for myself.

Nice, thanks for these recent posts.
I've got some good ideas from here.
As I said, I wont get involved in POS fights or Capital fleet fights, just help our fleets while engaging on stations.
This is about station games, but not solo. At least I hope.
I've already lost more than 100 ships and killed more than 400 on PVP, but capitals are new ground to me.
I still have time to learn more about this on those 3 next months.

then you bought the wrong ship.
...you would be better off in a carrier, cuz the sole purpose of a dread IS to pop POS'es and siege conquerable stations (the ones you see in null-sec), and the occasional capfight. ---
