I am not sure if this is just my oddball thinking or if there is some issues or plans behind the apparent MIA Status of many ISD/Actor's but of late a few Events, for All Races seem to have been cut short, ended while setting up or having extended periods of inactivity, mostly without warning and with no follow up word about unexpected delays or tripped on the soap in the shower or anything for that matter.
I am sure there can be many reasons for a cut back in ISD/Actor run events as we approach Shiva, but hey, how about some closure at least on a few "In-Process" Events or at least some warning they are being Delayed until Further notice or something at least applicable.
Many of the players that get involved in multi-part ISD/Actor run Events Invest as much if not more time in these events, to leave them hanging is not a good thing and definitely discourages future participation.
Sincerely Concerned

Seems a bit like everything has been put on hold for the Caldari Colossus race.

Yeah I have noticed a rather glaring absence of a couple of characters now too.
Whats going on ?

Not your odd ball thinking at all ;)
Quite a lot of reasons in the current slow down in events - those being;
o) The race - takes up a lot of mine and the producers time in running each and every qualifier (as well as planning the finale in a few weeks).
There are only 8 or so qualifiers left as I write this so these wont last much longer
o) Shiva - I've told the producers to bring to a close any current parts of their event arcs in preparation for shiva. When Shiva is launched there won't be any events for a week or so as we (and yourselves) get aqquainted with the new features (Man the GUI looks pretty )
o) Recruitment - Yarr! Yes we are currently recruiting actors to bolster Aurora's numbers. Those of you who have applied will have been invited to fill out a task.
No arcs/event series will be 'terminated' they will just be slowing down until post shiva when they will kick back into full swing.
So there you have it - Hope it answers your questions :)

Hi there, I have been playing for 6 months or so, and have recently been a part of 2 seperate mini events, I guess thats what they were anyway. The first was in Lustrevik, a man by the neme of Elrod (cant remember last name) was there taking in freed slaves for re-integration, that was a cool mini event, I spoke with him about something that my corp was doing and he was supposed to get back to us about it, as far asI know we have heard nothing.
Then, a few nights ago there was A pilot named Skaer(forgot last name here too) that was trying to gather forces to take on slave traders in Ammold, as we started to gather numbers he told us to meet in Ammold in 30 minutes, set us a channel, then promptly disapeared, no one came back on and told us anything, many of us waited for 45 minutes or so, but nothing happened......
Like I said I am new at events, but is there anything that can be done to improve it some?
