Hm? Trouble beating a BThron? Have you tried keeping him outside 5km? It's rather easy, just fit 4 webs and you're safe from BThrons ;)
Seriously, a BThron facing a proper PulsePoc is fried unless he starts really close. That means, drop the hardners and fit Heat Sinks.

Not to mention that the standard equipment for Ravens around where I fight seem to be dual MWD. That needs looking in to! I hate those buggers orbitting at 130km. Ravens just don't loose anything to fit and run those in combat, while it's suicide for a Blasterthron.
Close range ships should be the ships where speed modules are most viable.
As for tanking a Blasterthron that's close and personal... it just isn't (shouldn't be) possible.
