Edited by: Ankhesentapemkah on 31/07/2009 19:21:29 Despite a lot of storyline regarding the relations between these two factions, the Amarr towards Khanid standing remained at a meager +0.50. Khanid towards Caldari is only at +4.50. This while the Khanid towards Amarr and Caldari standing is +6.00.
Now that King Khanid holds a seat in the privy council and the relations couldn't be better, and the Caldari increased trading with the Kingdom, wouldn't it be time to adjust these standings? Khanid kinda sucks to run missions for at the moment due to their extremely crappy standings matrix (They have more disadvantages than the Amarr but none of the advantages).
Thukker Tribe could have a look too, in light of them severing their criminal ties and joining up with the Minnies. ---

These things are such low priority and rightfully so. FIX bugs and develop more content and screw what the standings between the npc factions are. The 'Fendahlian Collective' strikes again |

They did set all Thukker relations to negative recently and they adjusted the SOE standings when Apoc was released, it really isn't any trouble to do something about this.
Storyline should impact the game for RP reasons, otherwise it's just idle talk. ---

Ank I 100% agree for an RPG which is what EVE is there is a lot less effort put into making the RP fit into the game mechanics than I would expect.
I agree that they have other issues to deal with but I would love to see one of the major expansions geared toward making the RP have more impact on game play.

Modifying standings shouldn't be a big deal. Presumably, they already have an idea of what standings level means what in terms of balance and roleplay. Changing faction standings to suit RP events should be something they do alongside the stories already. While they do have a limited pool of people, it's not so limited that everybody is doing everybody's job. Bug testers and fixers are separate from the content developers.

I agree with this statement on principle.

Sometimes I don't understand the standings certain factions have for each other. I agree something like this should be fixed.
While were on this can CCP look at making certain factions relevant again in raising your standing. There seems to be no way to gain faction with Blood Raiders without having irreversible loss with Amarr. Yet this problem doesn't seem to exist with factions like Serpentis and Gallante.

Sorry, but What adjustment to SOE standing in Apoc?
The only one I am aware of was done in RMR.
