A while ago I used to kick some macroass in low sec, a system infested with haulers running to-and-fro a lvl4 agent in low sec. But - for the love of whiskey, I cant remember the name of the system? Can anyone help me out? --

The corridor from Brin to whatever the 0.6 high sec system is about five jumps away was always overflowing with macrohaulers, but that was about a year ago. Metropolis and Heimatar in general seem to have a lot of them though.

The system of Arzi has recently become infested with them in the last two weeks. A bunch of lvl4 production agents in that system handing out the sort of missions that macro haulers love. --

I`ve been to all those systems during the last day, and I didnt find a lot of what seems to me scripted/macro/sweatshop haulers. Perhaps CCP have cleaned them out. --

Edited by: Myyona on 02/08/2009 23:06:55 I was over in the Placid region, Evaulon solarsystem, and a group of macro haulers had started up operations from the nearby Esesier system. Interestingly, Evaulon is homebase of a rather large pirate corporation (sorry, forgot your name chaps) with a constant presence in the system.
Often a small gang would camp one of the gates (there are only two in the system) and kill the macro hauler ships as they passed through. The odd thing was, that it simply did not stop them at all. Like zombies they would be back a few minutes later in an identical ship and completely ignorant to their own recent death they would still be flying on autopilot. A bit spooky. And it was not just a rookie ships that got blown up but industrial after industrial. I am very puzzled as to how they managed to get all these industrials into the middle of low sec space in the first place with modules and all. Maybe it does take some kind of effort of a scale before a macro hauling route can be established.
Sooner or later the pirates would get bored and move out to do some real action and the macro haulers were free to do their mindless travels unhindered.

A simple fix was proposed to fix macro-haulers; make the mission deposit worth about 5x the mission value.

anyone know the criteria these non-player-players use to chose a system/constellation to put their macros in? as for eg. i went today to have a look at ingunn and hevrice and well, doesnt appear to be anymore around (obviously all blasted) and even arzi has about one tenth of the amount there used to be. so, they must of moved somewhere, somehow i dont think they just gonna give up that easy.

ISK LP value ? You used to have a hard time trading LP for more than 700 ISK per LP, 1000 ISK per LP was actually pretty damn good... now with a bit of patience 1800 ISK per LP is not impossible.

The Arzi and Schmaeel systems have been heavily infested for months. Literally dozens and dozens of macro haulers flying back and forth. It's kind of surreal really, seeing all those random haulers in low sec. ----------------------------------------------------

The pirate corp probably stocked their station with mods and industrials. Then they make a profit from every macro ship they blow up.
