I've recently applied what I consider to be pretty exciting updates to the site. The best of which is the importing and filtering of Eve-O forum posts where you can rate away to your hearts content, even look up best rated topics quickly and easily by a daily,weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
The import of content is running quite smoothly although those pesky ISK spammers have incurred a bit of a delay so the site is lagging behind by about 16 hours at present, although it will soon catch up.
I do have other updates to this planned to give additional and exciting functionality, however in the meantime I'd like to get the ball rolling with a competition that will last for the next fortnight. (Two weeks).
So starting today and ending 17th August 09 at 20:00 Eve Time, any comments you make or ratings you perform as a registered member will earn you site points. I'm then going to award three winners the following in prizes.
1: 300,000 x the amount of site points earned in ISK. - capped at 300 million ISK minimum of 100 million ISK.
2: 250,000 x the amount of site points earned in ISK. - capped at 250 million ISK minimum of 70 million ISK.
3: 200,000 x the amount of site points earned in ISK. - capped at 200 million ISK minimum of 50 million ISK.
So for example, you earn 1,000 site points, you potentially win 300 million ISK.
Another example, there are only 3 people taking part and the highest has 50 site points, that person wins 100 million ISK and the other winners receive 70 and 50 million respectively. Essentially the top three site point holders win with the exception of myself and SFC Admin.
May all your ratings be good ones.

Anyway. Those pesky ISK spammers are still slowing down the import.. but the content is catching up quite steadily.

Site content is now bang up to date with the Eve-O forums...although if they continue to get hammered by those ISK spammers then the progress could slide a little.
Anyway, the competition is still open. You do have to register to take part in the competition, however if you just want to vote content up or down you don't need to register at all.

Is the site 100% certified Nannerslug free? My sanity requires these assurances before I load up the site.

As there's less than a week to go with this competition I thought it wise to let you know there's still a chance to make isk for pretty much next to no effort. Sites are also very welcome to make use of the available feeds as several hundred users already do. Rates make the site live, so feel free to rate topics, even as an unregistered user. It all adds to the experience.
Several improvements to the site are still underway (a site is NEVER complete!) and as always, feedback is welcome.

I do have some protection running on the site to help prevent bot flooding etc. It's entirely possible that you are either using a disallowed user agent, or you have malware that is presenting your browser session as a disallowed user agent, or that you are running behind anonymisers or other similar proxy services. Or it could be something else entirely. If you wish, contact me in game and I'll try to assist.

And because even though I'm flying in the face of adversity, to hell with the keylogging spam I'm asking people to visit my site anyway...
24 or so hours to go then the competition endeth. Next time, I'll choose a moment when we aren't being attacked by key logger spam.
