Since its been a little while since the last one, I thought I would guage the interest in having another get together. Since downtown TO has worked pretty well for most the last few times I say we stick with it:
Location: Jack Astor's (Tentative, open to suggestions that don't suck  )
Date: Friday, September 18, 2009
Time: 8pm
Post below if your interest, if I can't get 8-10 people to confirm then I probably won't bother booking anything. I'm open to different dates but thats the first Friday in September that works for me, I'd be oen to weekdays but I imagine Friday works best for most.

This should be a doable day for myself. I haven't received my timetable for my fall semester yet. But if it remains a friday night I should be able to attend myself.

I'll be able to make it. My only concern is parking, I don't know the place but it would be ideal if it was held someplace where parking is available.

Tons of parking downtown. Or take subway or Go Train, and don't worry about drinking and driving.
I may or may not be there.

There is a giant underground parking lot less than 20 feet from the main entrance!

I enjoyed the beer last time so much I wouln't miss this. :) I'll probley drag a couple of corp m8's with me as well.

Jack Astor's works for me. Anything on Front St. is perfect locale. Count me in for Friday September 18th.

DJ Hangedman here from Eve radio, I'll plug this on air and should be able to attend with others. My only concern is Jack Astors tends to be pricey and uber loud. If I may offer up a suggestion that Fox and Fiddle on Bloor (near UofT campus) has a back room that we used to hold gaming convention meetings at. If you opt for this, call ahead and see it's availability as it's used by poker players and darts on some nights.

I think we are going to stick with Jack Astor's this time because 1) alot of people already think thats where its going to be, and 2) its good location and parking-wise for many, especially those coming in off the qew/dvp/etc...
A shout-out on EVE-Radio would be most appreciated, the more the merrier! See you all there!

0? Canadians need a passport to get into the United states now... but if you are American I'm fairly certain you can get back into your own country with a driver's license. And fyi Toronto is in Canada, so if ur Canadian.... well I don't know why you would ask that.

I live in Belleville Ontario. I can get the afternoon off and drive up to Scarberia and take the ol TTC into TO and the bar. Heh .. nostalga for me. Spent 10years in to from 1990 to 2000 .. it was an interesting time.
Hope to see you guys there... is there a secret password or something we should say when we get there? or "??? party" to get the right spot in the bar?

Well apparently I fail at Eve-mail, I tried to send something out to everyone on Alex's list but I'm told no one got it 
I'll try to get something out this week but I can't promise anything, it looks like enough people know about it though so I'm not too worried
The reservation is booked for 8pm, ask the hostess for the reservation under "EVE"! (make it seem like its a girls name, its much less confusing for them that way, trust me!)
Just as a note: I told them 10-20 people (since that's our usual number) and they put me in touch with their "Event Co-ordinator", I dont know if its the economy or what but they sure want the business! Anyhow, I think it will be a good time, see you all there and make sure you tell your friends. BTW non-EVE playing friends and GF/BFs are more than welcome, a couple of people had asked.....

Hello all.
I guess I should ask the Alex to put me into that list as well. I live somewhere within the GTA and can totally make it to the gathering. Is there any pre-registration involved or just show up at Jack Astor's?
And I don't think I can stay for more than an hour either. Busy night tonight and I got another party to attend to (party-hopping, anyone?) Hope that's fine enough to get to know other EVE people.

FYI, I've made a channel for all the folks at this event. I called it "EVE-TO", for want of something better. I think someone else said they were going to, but I happened to get here first. If anyone thinks of a better name, sure, but this'll do for now.

Guys join in game channel "Toronto EO" (eo not ed) info for teh facebook group is there also. There is a couple of groups in 416 area and we need to merge.
Also, join the mailing list "Toronto EO" (same as chan)
We have a meet coming up ion early january. Event will be created soon.
