I made the mistake of listing each of the matches as Match #1 but listing the teams i thought would win.
I know i did this wrong and hold my hands up and know im not getting my isk back.
But i then rectified my mistake and changed them to A 10001 , A 10002 etc or whatever the code is - only these bets , which to my knowledge is correct , arn't showing up on the database , yet my old bets which are wrong , are...
Any help / response that is usefull would be welcome - cheers.

OK found it.
My UTC datetime handling was just fine (pwew, as I took some pains to ensure that, so was a bit miffed that seemed to be the issue)
It'll be a little while before I get the DB cleaned up so your valid bets will show up, but the code should now be fine (fingers crossed) for any further betting made.

Lesson : (tech stuff)
When doing a for-loop, remember to reset *all* your (success criteria) variables... ::blush:: (what a beginner mistake... sigh)
Basically I'm checking each bet that
a: the value is above 1M ISK
b: the reason field is "well formed"
c: the bet is made on time
*Any* of those fail and I set "Invalid = true"
For (legacy reasons) I also single out a bet if it's otherwise OK, but fails c and thus I set "TooLate = true"
I correctly reset "invalid" for each row, but had forgotten to reset "TooLate"....
So while processing the current batch of bets made, if one was "TooLate", then the rest would be "TooLate" as well (as the "TooLate variable never got reset) - And thus the bet would not show up as a valid bet.
In hindsigt I should have found that one faster, as I had entries in the DB saying
"TooLate = True" AND "Invalid=False" which should not be possible (if it's TooLate, it's of course also Invalid)
The stress of trying to find the bug made me go "I'll figure that one out later"....

A couple of your bets *are* invalid, as they are made too late - Check your wallet timestamps...

I did notice a ton of invalid bets for match #1.
I'll have to get back to you on that one - Need to clean up the DB first for the other guys.

Yeah.
I mistook the first drop down option.
If there's anyway you could honor those bets as the correct way they should be listed , e.g Agony #1 , Dead terrorist #2 Raiden #3 etc that would be awesome.
If not then i'll have to lump it i guess haha. |

all of my bets were made before the previous match started. Now i can't help that they started late. as your rules sated before the match starts not before the stated time its supposed to start. |

You'll have to lump it I'm afraid - Or it would set a precedent.
Get some BIG Lottery tickets  , as that's where the ISK is going (used for prizes - ie. I'm not keeping it for myself)

I admit that in lawyer speak that sentence doesn't cater for the occurrence of a match being late, but the meaning really ought to plainly clear, why else even have a reference to the schedule
- especially as I (and my software) has no way of knowing when a match actually starts.
But just for you and all the lawyers out there , I'll fix up the text to say
"Make your bets any time before an individual match is scheduled to start (check the schedule)"

So glad I bet on Bunnies today, 6ish to 1 odds. 
Wish more people would bet, not much cash being tossed around in comparison to other sites. Likely due to your sites format and the extreme amount of "if you mess up well screw you". |

The number corresponds to the match number on the schedule posted on the betting site. Makes bookkeeping easier, though in theory it wont matter in the pre-group matches, since each team will only play once this weekend.
so A033-A064 for this weekend.
BTW: place more bets ppl so I can win more of your iskies :) |

A033 is for betting on match #33, A123 is for betting on match #123. Check schedule to see which match is which. |

Maybe im a bit slow, i just never connected the A033 etc code to the corresponding match, maybe just have a little explanation or example displayed. Its pretty obvious for the quarter/semi finals etc as it states that.
After checking my bets placed, even tho it says match 33, it still has the winning team will it be possible to still get a payout for it?

"A049: Bet on the winning team"
to
"A049: (Match #49) Bet on the winning team"
Is that better - or wouldn't it have made any difference?
