Is working mic req. to join player corporations and overall play eve ?
New here,like game,can hear but cant talk.

Many pvp corps will expect you to have a mic. Recommended in some cases for pve (group doing missions). Headphones/speakers to at least listen would be required in most cases.
Without one you'll be at a disadvantage in pvp. For pve or industrial stuff it won't matter all that much.
Most would appreciate any attempt to talk regardless of the disability. Part of it is the spy paranoia. A player can change anything about themselves except the voice. So even if you stutter badly, have a lisp, or have some other speech impediment most would prefer that to silence.

There are also a lot of cheap mics out there (sub $20). Most people don't care if you sound really good or anything, so if you'd rather not spend much on one, that's OK.

I can't speak for every corp, but we list a working microphone as a pre-req for our courses and as you can't join the corp without having done the Basic course, you effectively can't join the corp without a microphone.
Other corps I've been in have also required a microphone, so as a general rule, it's a good idea to have one.

My corp explicitly does not use voice. If you can't write and read English, you can't join.
