Bugs notwithstanding I managed to actually connect (and stay connected) to the Shiva test server for a few minutes to tickle the following lvl 4 variant of the Mordu's Headhunters mission out of my latest InterBus contact:
+ Mission briefing for a lvl 4 Mordu's Headhunters mission
And that's just the first wave, lads... Volunteers?

wow umm did i say wow.. looks like if u gonna take em solo u better be i na kick ass ship with kick ass skills otherwise 2 battleships might be needed

get a rifter, nail everying but the battleship (that what i assume the phanti is)
then dock, get your battelship and open up the hurt
one wave disposed of....

the last spawn will be fun, but other than that this just looks like what you'd find in 0.0. If you can handle 0.0 you can handle lvl 4 mordu |

Just did a few in my crow. You definately have to be more careful, but if you know what you are doing they are completely doable in an interceptor or cruiser.
Did a 8x Moa/1x Raven twice and a 4x Scorp, and the new mordu mission.
I didn't have any problem with the Mordu, I just targeted the bounty hunters first, then killed off all the small stuff.
Killing battleships in a crow takes a long time..and alot of missiles, but it can be done.
I almost died on the first mission with the Raven. Now when your target dies that you were orbiting, your ship stops instantly. Ate a torp in the face..so now you really have to watch your targets and keep switching back and forth. You can't afk through them like level 3 missions.
Also, they appear to have raised the tracking on level 4 rats, even though they share the same name. I used to do level 3 missions all the time without ever getting hit, and now I'm glad I pack a small shield booster for emergencies cause I needed it a few times. On the mordu I ended up with about 20% armor after the first wave died out.
I'll try them again later in a battleship to see how they are in those.

First time through, I would bring way too much firepower, likely a couple of Ravens, and shoot a couple of million ISK in torpedoes down range, until I got the hang of the mission.

kurtz, if you need more than a rifter for any level 3 mission, suggest you go back to flight school, and turn in your wings, because you are not competent to be flying your ship
if you want to make an issue about this, shoot me an eve amil in game, at about dt, any day of the week, and you're wlecome to come along and watch me work over any spawn you chose, short of a battleship
bout the only thing that threatens me is multiple interceptors, and those, i might lose a little bit of armour, say 10%

I stand corrected. Your right, I am not the uber frigate pilot, I fly many classes of ships, and work in many professions.
I think I will try your load out on my Rifter, and a variant with the Jaguar.

frankly, i can't wait for missins taht absolutely require a battleship at the leat to complete, with no hope of doing so in any lesser ship

Yes definetely. BS in missions what a taste! Count me and my m8 in because I want farm all these yummy BS comming in from missions.
