Thanks for the virtual tour, JP. I've not yet passed the blood alcohol test for Shiva entrance which, I hear, must be greater than 99%. From what I've seen (or more accurately, heard described) of the UI, it sounds like more of a 'karmic encubrance' than anything else. I'd probably be happy just to see a working scanner from the old UI as an option. The only exciting thing about fighting is when you realize that the scanner hasn't updated for 40 seconds and you refresh it only to see a blank scanner. I think Shiva should have a scanner refresh skill to increase the odds of having it work 1 or 2 days a week.
Got back after a week away for work and got on TQ, did an l3 mordu in a rifter and was so bored, I haven't been back again other than to kick skills. I suppose I'll have to wait awhile before I can pass the entrance exam (based on the clearly Mensa-like IQ's of the Shiva forum posters) and gain entre to the surreal theme park known as Shiva so I can be par-boiled by the new *improved* Morduleans.
On the bright side: Just imagine how much fun "helpless chat" will be the first week or year after the Shiva initial release ;)

Well one would hope that a new level would mean new challenges so using mordus as a rating would not be applicable as there would be a few newer harder missions and not the same one with more and nastier ships. But perhaps thats asking too much.

Originally by: Kurtz Liz, I have spoken without looking at all the options. I read your comments in the other thread about level-3 missions in a Rifter, and realized that your use of the 125mm guns solved the issue of being able to maintain tracking while at speeds to evade missile fire.
Could you please point me to that thread?
