Archa	Posted - 2004.10.09 16:11:00 - [1] I managed to get my hands on a +4 perception implant that was collecting dust in somebodys hangar. I hate auctioning it so i'll give you guys about a day or 2 to put down some serious bids and then i'll take it or i don't. Personally i estimate the value of this beauty about 100 mil. why 100 mil? with all the isk in the world you can't buy skill time. Only faster skill training. And this is probably the only +4 perception implant left ingame:) happy bidding

And i don't think you read what i wrote. +4 perception implants don't excist anymore. This is probably one of the last remaining ones from the bs agent missions more than 2 months ago. And the more perception you have. the faster you can learn. you can't buy skill time. this is the closest you can get.

I'm not here to buy this baby... just to say that I am tired of people in a sense "sobotaging" other people's auctions. They put their price down, degrade the item, say it's not good or worth anything, and other things like that. It's just quite annoying. I had this happen to my last auction. If you don't intend on bidding on it in accordance to the sellers rules, or don't have anything positively constructive to say... then just keep quiet on other's auctions so they can get the most out of their item. I know of at least 1 person that has all +4 implants and they have all learning to 5 and have INSANE attributes... they train skills in no time... and over time the extra +1 addition for the +4 implant of the +3 makes a significant difference. Especially if someone is completing their +4 implant collection with this one. Anyways... off to bed or some other fun thing... Say they will be in shiva, then i doubt they will be released the same day as shiva gets released. So expect at least 3 months of extra training with this implant.

As for the +4s, while I expect level 4 agents to give them out, I don't expect them to be common on the market. I could be wrong, but I suspect most folks will still be sporting +3s. I could also be wrong about level 4 agents giving them out at all. I've heard that +4s do make it into the current game sometimes when a GM is running a senario, and someone does well. As for the +3 Perceptions, the current price crash is because the market is flooded with them. Kill agents tend to give perception, and the VAST majority of mission runners work for kill agents. But while +3s and lower flood the market, +4s do NOT flood the market. Perception is the key stat for flying and shooting, so such implants are popular. Thus, it is one of the most votal stats for most players. Thus, based on the current market, a high bid sounds correct. Speculation on market changes in shiva is just that: speculation. The speculation could be correct, or incorrect.
