No...a nid will be called primary since it is better at keeping the other carriers alive, and its own tank isn't as strong, and the primary will be kept bubbled/pointed. An archon on the other hand would be the last in the list of primaries.

Hmm...let's see here...compared to the nid/thanny, it loose the ability to shield transfer and gain the ability to cap transfer, and either a fighter damage bonus or a RR amount bonus, and gain a resist bonus. The nids RR bonus usually doesn't matter since it will be the first one to die anyway, unless there are alot more nids there, but nids aren't very common, so I'd say it's unlikely, and an all archon or chimera gang would have the same benefit basically since their resist bonus has the same effect as a RR bonus for RRs applied to it. Thannys fighter damage bonus could be situationally useful, but in general, resist bonus will be better so the carrier can actually survive to do its primary logistics job. The only thing nids do better then archons is pos repping.

But nids RR bonus only works when they're NOT being primaried, and everyone primary nids :p
Also, atleast for us, about 50-60% of our carrier fleets usually consist of archons (majority of the rest are thannys), so no, there can still be quite a few people left when there's nothing but archons to shoot left.
The real difference between an all nid and all archon fleet though is that while the nid fleet only has a rep bonus, which will not be enough in a big cap fight with dreads etc on the field, while the archon fleet get that same tanking onus trough its resists, but in addition to that, also gain alot of buffer trough that bonus.
My vote definetly go to the archon.
