well , I'm currently on a dominix training sentry drones , aiming for a kronos in the future(when I get t2 turrets)
is a dominix/kronos good enough as the amarr/caldari line of lvl4 mission bs's ?
I really like the kronos/megathron/dominix hulls stylewise , but I want to be optimal on pve.
what do you guys say ?

the domi is arguably the best l4 mission boat

definately but you dont need to train for weeks or spend a billion isk on a kronos to run l4s

Depends on definition of "the best". It's not the one doing them fastest. Decent, but outperfomed by ravenkind and by amarr (against em weak stuff). If you don't want to train up missiles it's fast enough when compared to raven and as universal. So you can still use Domi without losing out a lot.
Some missions have some quirks with drones. Long term I would not hold my breath over it or over being able to use drones in missions. Depends how that sleeper AI is implemented ofc in missions, but if it's anything like current sleepers then you might as well start training missiles now.

Domi tops out at around 850dps. Most of that damage type specific, and doesnt matter if your being jammed/tracking disrupted. After months of running missions in domain, I have no clue how anyone says nightmare/baddon is faster, since many times you have 3+ TDs stuck on you.

Golem, hands down.
There's your optimal Mission Runner boat.
Anything else is mission/rat/region/pleasure specific.
If you want something that'll bulldoze anything your agent throws at you the golem is the most versatile, easy to fit, L4 'dozer.
I know it cost a fortune, but that wasnt the question was it?
Now on the other hand, if you want to stay in character and NOT let mainstream decide your training, chronos might be viable.
That is if you're mainly up against serpentis/guristas.

I have a domi myself and it's a great ship, I'll be going for a kronos in about 28 days, concentrate on getting a good fit for your ship of choice, that will ultimately pay off in terms of mission performance as much as the ship you use (bad fits make good ships bad!).
I could go for a golem but I won't, missile are like little explosive lullabies that send me to sleep and don't have half the flair of guns ;)

Chuck Norris has no need to fly a spaceship, he can just fly into space and roundhouse kick your ship into submission.

Hasn't made a difference to me, I still instapop everything and 2-3 volley most BS. Either A) Your Amarr BS skills suck, B) Your gunnery skills suck, C) You aren't using a Tracking Enhancer/Tracking Computer, D) All of the above.
I'd have to say the Domi could be better then the Abaddon but the Nightmare is definitely better than them both. The only bonus to using a Marauder over the pirate-faction BS is the tractor range.

I would advise the domi over the kronos for most situations, other then using a salvage kronos.
paladin/nightmare/abaddon are all fantastic, but only really shine against certain enemies.
golem is just ****ing awesome.
guess it comes down to where you fly.
if it is amarr space take one of the amarr ships, 1k instant dps at 50k is just awesome, anywhere else and well golem imo. although domi can get close to 1k dps, at around 40k (slightly over with top skills, and implants, but very cap unstable) or slightly less, but a bit more cap stable. (2 sentry rigs, or 1 sentry rig +2 cccs)
