Hello there was just quite a large capital battle in J2-PZ6

Bobby Atlas Gallente Di-Tron Heavy Industries Atlas Alliance	Posted - 2009.08.18 01:33:00 - [31] atlas had 30 dreads, -a- 40 roughly and about 12 carriers combined, i think we lost just about all our caps, few got out (though we had opportunity to leave but decided to stick till the end. rzr 20 dread losses, pl 46, goons/other 10? all rough estimates so far, i think though it will come out in the end with everything very close and victory only being dictated by holding the field.

RZR's first fleet was annihilated to the man. Only 5 of us were still alive by the time PL came in. So we reformed and came back in with 20-25 more caps.... half of those died too ;p before the end.

Mr Rive Gallente Black Omega Security Pandemic Legion	Posted - 2009.08.18 01:53:00 - [41] So from our side what happened was RAZOR decided to bait with about 15 dread 5 carriers (thats the number i got from them), they then got dropped be at least 70 hostile caps, the estimate at the time was around 90, though how accurate this is can be debated (not by me). Goons came in, with around 10 dreads (heh) followed 2 mins later by PL who came in at about 180 from the -a- caps, who dropped siege, and because of a jump planner mess up, were not bubbled by our support fleet who were unable to bridge in initially. We had about 40 dreads, and at the start were dropping -a- dreads at 1 per minute, -A- warped on top of us (50 or so off), and we started slugging it out at close range. Obviously by this point we were outnumbered pretty heavily, but who cares we were having fun. While this was going on RAZOR had reshipped, and came in at range (i think?). At the point of RAZOR jumping in, we had roughly 15 dreads left, but reinforced that 2 minutes after razor came in with 25-30 more. At this point -A- had about 40 dreads left i think, so it was just a case of mopping up. I doubt very much they knew how much PL had or else i cant have seen this happening. it was a good fight anyway, was a shame things like this don't happen more often, considering the ample opportunity we have had for fights of this scale in the past couple of weeks.
