Before any of you ask, no this isn't an official website ccp its something I have thrown together since hearing about the launch. Obviously as we get to know more about DUST the site will get more interesting!

Very nice for a first-day fansite. That said, you made a typo on the front page:

There's an image rotator that may be flash-based, and an embedded youtube video of the Dust514 trailer and speech by CCP Hellmar... nothing nasty there, just two very simple flash elements on a basic website. Update your Flash Player, nub.

If you doubt its legitimacy, google up the real Flash site, download the update from there, and look again. There's nothing sneaky here, you just have an old version of Flash.

Can you maybe tell me if that fast next image transistion is a feature of latest flash (so I know if i need to update my version to get this effect, am a bit out of the loop)

uhm... in your downloads section, the backgrounds/wallpapers you have, they say Dust 154, not Dust 514......

Anyone wanting to help out can sign up on the dust514.org forums and send me a private message.
The three main jobs I foresee are:
Hunting down external links and posting them to an rss feed (I'm using delicious for this)
Moderating the forum
Writing articles
Now, I am actually not terribly articulate or imaginative when it comes to reporting/editorials, so if anyone wants to pitch in that's fine by me.

Added a video module, only two videos there currently.
You can currently add videos without being an actual user. File uploads are blocked, just external video URLS for now. I am working on a solution for a single logon with the forums and the rest of the site. When that is done anonymous video adding will be disabled.
