Quickly logged into EVE today to do some stuff and quickly noticed that I have ships and items missing from my hanger. Assets don't show them as being where they should be (unless I use the search function).
For example:
I have a Hurricane in Station 1. While sitting in the same station, the hanger doesn't show it as being there. Opening up Assets does the same. However, if I use the assets search function, it is adamant it is where it should be. Ideas? |

I have the same issue. (I hadn't tried the assets search function before I read this but it does find things).
Also the Assets window itself lists 40 items in Jita 4-4 but when I open it only displays 4. |

Confirming this. I logged in two see two of my station warehouses completely missing, and NOT showing up on the left hand menu of the new inventory.
The assets list did not show them either. Going to Assets, then to Search and searching for nothing showed me the station warehouses were present, but just not showing on the regular assets screen, or as part of the unified inventory.
To other people who have this issue: Assets -> Search -> Search (No search text). |

It seems that when I am undocked my assets tab correctly lists the items, but when I am docked nethier the assets tab nor the item hanger will correctly display my ships/containers/etc |

Same exact problem here except iv discovered even more fun stuff.
On another character, the System overview settings are all messed up now.
On this character im literally sitting in station without a pod, cant undock cant nothing.
I have a feeling this has something to do with the latest 16 meg download.
CCP please do an emergency revert until you finish testing your micro patch, some people cant play the game, petition with details has bin filed. |

Hmm i just logged in and have this same problem. Items that appeared after downtime show up fine (from a courier) but everything else just isnt there. It shows up when in space but docking with a pod got me a nice new noobship.  |

I'm having the exact same problem. The only way I can get hold of the "missing" ships/items is by doing a search in the asset window. Petition created. |

Ok I had this same problem and the best solution I could come up with is open your assets window and go under search then sort by "number of items," then your items should show up.... Should then make a contract through that window to who ever then cancel it and your items should repopulate themselves into your inventory. It worked for me and I hope it works for you guys. |

The other work around is to wonder why CCP forgot to flush after this release.

The silence is deafening. Funny thing is after I logged same thing happened to my buddy. Items are back (didn't count them all) after DT. We may have our stuff randomly disappear, but at leas the launchers on the ships look good. If only EVE was a graphic novel all these silly bugs could be ignored (oh, wait).
P.S. ticket still has not even been looked at. |

See, this is what you get when you ******* put **** in the game for the sake of saying you did something. Oooh shiney translates to '**** its broken.' Thanks to the new 'unified inventory' or as I like to call it, the "hey lets **** with the second most important thing in eve" patch, all of my stuff has locked itself and disappeared. It's only viewable in assets (something they DIDN'T change) but you can't interact with it.
So help me zombie jesus, the next time a CCP dev touts customization and streamlining and then implements a patch that FORCES you to use some piece of **** like the unified inventory, I'm going to ***** some more and probably not do anything real about it. The point is, why can't they do something without wiping out the old way, what is so ******* hard about implementing legacy options? It seems like pure sloth on their part.
In summation: Unified Chat sucks and Unified chat will suck (coming soon no doubt). |

Same problem The search by number of items does find everything. but i had to enter each ship then leave the station, redock and the ships were back....although a shuttle and t2 frig do not. As for Items....can't seem to get the station containers back at all. Only seems to be happening in one station. Pain in ass. |

Just got this issue today, I can find the assets if I search them. Also I made a ship which was not appearing my active ship and whilst docked it just showed me to be in a pod, however when I undock I was in the correct ship and when I docked back up it then appeared in my ship hangar.
This only happened when a director moved items into my hangar in this particular station, may just be a coincidence. |

Who the hell do we have to speak with to get this resolved? I'm going on several petitions, with no response. Ive tried all the work-arounds with no results. Ive lost 30bil in hangar or rather don't have access to it, WTF CCP!!!! FIX THE DAMN PROBLEM!!! |

Haven't logged on in a day or two to find myself with the same problem. The correct amount of items can be seen from the "Personal Assets" window, and when specific items are searched for I can also find them, but this just shouldn't be happening. |

Same problem, I logged in, received a courier delivery, saw the complete assets (remotely) in assets window and set up some orders using partial stacks. When I docked, I could see nothing but the delivered items and the remaining partial stacks from the orders I set up. I can find a ship in asset search but cannot make it active. |

Tagging in on this one. Logged in this morning to find everything I own completely missing, except the items from a courier contract a corp mate delivered.
What's bizarre is that while I was talking to my CEO trying to figure where my stuff went, even more items from the courier contract disappeared. |

Okay, so, after digging around on other forum posts and piecing things together I have a fix.
Step 1: Open Assets
Step 2: Search by a common letter, "t" or "a" or something, doesn't really matter
Step 3: This will show you all your stuff in the Asset Search window, but you won't be able to get at it still
Step 3a: Select EVERYTHING and create an Item Exchange Contract, set to Private and point it at yourself
Step 3b: You won't be able to complete the contract, it'll tell you all kinds of things like "this ship is insured" blah blah, just hit Cancel and it'll suddenly say the contract is complete.
Step 4: Try and accept the contract, it will of course say you can't.
Step 5: Delete the contract.
All your mods and items will be returned.
For ships however there's another step, as for me this didn't return any ships to my hangar.
Step 6: Open Assets again
Step 7: Search again
Step 8: Right click on any ship in the search results and "Make Active". If you're the same as me, no graphical change will take place (personally I logged in in a Hyperion, switched to a Drake, but ship spinning hangar still showed Hyperion).
Step 9: Undock
Step 10: Redock
This is what I did and all I owned was recovered. |

Yep, thats how the EVE manual explains the new inventory system works. Amazing progress! So much easier to use!

Same... I had something similar happen to me before when I created a contract, game crashed and the items and contract were missing. Downtime seems to fix these issues, but it's not really helpful when you need to pull the ship out right away and it's gone. |

DT is way more effective at resolving any issue in EVE then the petition system. At least it responds once a day. Sometimes more. It also appears to read petitions as well as the GM team.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.
