I played many games now with Arachna... Over and over the team with Arachna wins always, if the play isn't a super noob.
Even normal noobs can pwned with this hero... and the problem is simple: the skills.
Why do you think Icefrog never made a hero with so much slow.
Webshot + Spider is even stronger than Swiftblades Ulti and has a much smaller cooldown.
You have to hit the spider 3 times... with slowed attackspeed you need very long to hit it 3 times and 76% slowed movement you take about 2.5 sec. to even turn around to hit it. 3 Hits are simply to much at Level 6 even if you get help.
No melee hero can get her, in mid game a good player can slow up to 3 melee so extreme down, that they will never reach her.
Vipers ulti even slows 80% but after its gone, you can run at 100% speed and not 60%.
Her Ultima ignores Spellimmunity!!! Why?!!! It's a rework of Vipers Ulti which can be removed and the dmg can be blocked by magic immunity.
She has a spell shield so that casters are also ****ed up, if they try to kill her.
You just can't take a hero with the weakst ulti in the game and replace it with one of the best ultis in the game AND even improving it with stealth detection and 100% spell ignoring.
If you don't fix this I wont pay it's simple.

There comes a time when you cannot take any more. In the past couple of weeks, we have moved to Curse, hoping to expand our market into this region and the surrounding area. However, not all went according to plan. We've been getting constantly undercut by certain hero ***gots, with them being terrible pilots, sorely testing our kb through constant terrible piloting. To cap it all, ADVL.. err O**** supply lines have come under attack from Arachna, hindering our transportation capabilities and thus carebear presence.
It is a hard time for Advanced Logist.. O****. We can only hope that Arachna will bring forward some sort of diplomacy. Afterall, fighting is not our primary profession. It would be easier for the both of us if we could sort this out with words, not gunfire.

As a 317 game 88% win ratio 15.7:1 K:D player that plays Arach solely on any AP game I can assure you with utmost certainty I have never met a Poly yet who posed more than a 20% health bar challenge.

I must agree. It works great with a nuker as a combo too. By level 6-7, TB can have her in 2 BL hits, especially if another hero is present in her lane. Just gotta keep pressure on her early on, and not let her gank.

Nah I just killed our soulstealer. Twice. Both were rescue attempts so I guess it was his own fault for going out alone.

Only if the person controlling Arachna is an absolute ******. I always rush Harden Carapace before anything, even web. By level 7 no caster can touch me. By level 11 1on1 Zeus is crying tears in a fetal position under his desk whenever I enter his line of sight from the fog of war.
Nothing gives me more pleasure than popping level 4 Harden nanoseconds before Zeus unloads his 1-2+Ult+Codex punch on me only to claw out his own eyeballs in dismay as it does a mere 1/3rd of my hitpoints and he's already at 15% health. Does he attempt the futility of running? Or does he stand valiantly and hurl the remaining 1-2 autoattacks my way before I remove him from the field in a desperate attempt to lower my health enough so that a lucky teammate can perhaps catch me unaware as I retreat from his bloody remains?

Where did I say that TB can take you solo? It's called a combo for a reason, and any self-respecting TB player will be aware of other gankers at all times. And no, you don't go solo-mid with your TB when Arachna is on the other team. You pair up with a tank/disabler like Elec for a reason. That sort of mentality is very much close to impossible to get in a pub game. And such, carries like Arachna appear to be overpowered in pub stomps, creating public outcry for a nerf bat to be swung all over the place.
And yes, most people fail to play TB as ganker/roamer, which is the ONLY way that hero should be played.

Theres many games out there that are unique yet have heaps of fans,
but I will never undestand why the rts/rpg grind that is DOTA is so popular and appealing to people..
