I'm planning on a mining competition.
This is an initial interest survey, so if you're interested, just jolt down your name here.
The competition will be held at a "popular time", weekend etc.
The competition goes as such;
- Each person mines into the orca as much as they can(5/10/15 minutes depending on people participating).
- I'll move the amount into the orca cargo, when time is up, no more ore is accepted.
- Largest amount(purely m3) gets ze prize(perhaps a secondary prize for runner up)
The prize will depend on several things, so if you decide you want to participate, also put in what you're willing to pay for the participation. 1 mil? 5 mil? 10 mil?
Also if someone wants to donate something for the cause, feel free to contact here or via EVE-mail.
The competition would be held in highsec.
I'm willing to change the competition according to participant wishes etc, so let's just see how many are interested.
HOPEFULLY, i manage to scrounge up some assets here and there to give an orca as a prize. Would be fitting i think.

Well, I would love to participate but I'll be off next week, I wouldn't stand a chance anyway (don't even have a hulk, though I can fly it:D).
Anyway, I wanted to give you some tips. First of all, you say pay for participation, but erm, how about all those ores you're getting mined, or are those going back to the people who mined em?
Perhaps a better prize would be to just give all the ores to the winner (or give 1/4th to the runner up).
That way you technically have nothing to loose:D

Oh ofcourse the ore will be part of the prize.
70/20/10 split would be ofcourse a classic.

Sounds fun... or you could come help me run the frig racing! 
I don't think I'm up to scratch on my mining skills though, I only have exhumers 3 and so on.

Suppose there just happens to be another Orca in the belt, and suppose I was collecting some pre-mined ore out of that Orca's ore bay, would that still count towards the competition?
