I just bought an NVidia 5700LE, I'm worried it won't work with the 61.77 drivers, has anyone recieved a response from CCP about the status of fixing it?
YES, I know this should go in another forum most likely, but nobody is saying anything in those forums about any answers, and CCP has been rather quiet about it in the tech support forums.

I thought the white screen was an ATI problem, and nvidia suffered from messed up minnie stations? ______________________________________________

The white screen problem is a problem with the NVidia 61.77 drivers, it causes eve to load with a black splash screen and then a solid white login screen.
Some people have it, some don't. It may be a problem with older NVidia cards, but I just wanted to make sure.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. Do you know if it is directX related possibly? I use 9.0c on a FX5700-256-OC witht he latest NV drivers and have never experienced this, nor did I with the same DX and drivers on a GF4800Ti. It would be interesting to see if there is a common denominator to this problem. ______________________________________________

I'm still having issues with my Ti 4200... Or I think it's with it. The game crashes regularly...I'll try the last drivers thingy. *crosses fingers* (\_/) (O.o) (> <)=Oveur (proof) "Jumping 50 systems I can like, have sex 150 times during that period" |

also its worth checking you system for spyware with something like ad-aware SE and virus with something like panda antivirus active scan. This wont cure the white screen bug but it has been known to be the cause of other eve ctd's and lockups etc.. "Death Before Dishonor" |

As I recal the issue is covered in the known issues forum, and quite a few contributions in there about how and why.
It was something rather card specific, as I recall, and for some the new drivers work, and for some it wont.
