Do you have any idea of how big rats I will usualy come across in 0.3?

miner 2s and at least 4 warp core stabs. You aint going to fight anything in 0.0 with 1 missile laucnher anyway , so you can as well make sure you get away from them.

another thing to do if ur staying in 0.1+ space is tank mining, if u have the skills for it, but its not that hard really, a med t2 armor rep and the correct hardners should be more than enough for mining in 0.1+ if ur skills are poor in armor tanking then find a small spawn, tank mining in 0.0 is also possible but slightly more risky, as is everything in 0.0 
note* tank mining is when u dunt kill the rats but let them shoot you and absorb all the dmg. instead of unleashing ur drones all the time to kill the rats... for the lazy miner really

for info on what hardners to use go to www.eve-i.com and use the object explorer, find what rats u are hardning against and look up what kinds of dmg they do, and yes one large armor rep and 2x 50% hardners should be more than enough, if u have cap trouble running all 7x miners/L armor rep/2x hardners then u should be just fine with only a med t2 which takes less cap, or u could mine in belts that has either shansas or bloods cause they do EM/thermal dmg and then u only need to harden against thermal
