Has anyone had this wierd issue?
Ratting in Kiereend...warp in to an asteroid belt, a Sansha's Scavenger warps in at same time. It is a red cross in the overview, and on screen...so I press the CTRL key and click on the rat's icon in my Combat overview, targeting begins. Sansha then begins targeting me. I load up for a salvo of missiles as target still locking. When the lock is on, I get a yellow warning message about firing upon innocent civilians...do I want to proceed. I think, its only a rat...no problem. Clicked OK, and before my salvo goes off, I am warp bubbled, CONCORD appears and am dead in about 2 shots. There were no other players in the vicinity (hell - the whole damn system), nor was there any npc structures around, since it was an asteroid belt.
Killmail:
2009.08.19 14:52:00
Victim: Antraman Corp: Mirai Yume Alliance: NONE Faction: NONE Destroyed: (edited) System: Kiereend Security: 0.8 Damage Taken: 32753
Involved parties:
Name: CONCORD Police Commander / CONCORD Damage Done: 32753
Name: Sansha's Scavenger / True Power (laid the final blow) Damage Done: 0
Please note: there were no other player in the area, and no CONCORD vessels. I did not use FOF missiles, and firing on a roid doesn't warrant a CONCORD message.
It was definitely a Sansha's Scavenger, because after I was dead, the thing flew straight past me and I could see it was a either a Succubus or Phantasm ship , the shape was unmistakeable.

Petition this issue and a GM will be able to tell you what you shot at.

If you have a RR (for eg drones) activating that might cause a concordokken.. correct?

Edited by: Antraman on 25/08/2009 23:37:56 I notice here http://www.eve-wiki.net/index.php?title=Succubus that players can fly Sanshas pirate ships.
If a player had such a ship, would a red cross appear as the target icon in the overview?

No, and in any case players can't be in the NPC "True Power" corp.

Edited by: Some Advisor on 26/08/2009 14:03:18 as said, dont be so shy to post your raven or whatever it was. who cares (oh wait. cnr ^^so what)
it "surely" was some remote repping or other benefitical things give us *ALL* the data if you want help since you already on forum whining, so you could just go the last mile and give the combatlog aswell aside from the killmail that we want

Judging from your photo, looks like you popped a player there with your yellow wreck showing in the overview and then the white wreck of your concorded ship

That yellow wreck is sansha nations ship.
Wait, the wreck is yellow. I think what happened is that you shot at the wreck of another player, in a miss click type episode, while trying to shoot the rat.
This is why you don't have wrecks on overview, until you need them.

Sounds plausible, but why does the Sansha's Scavenger appear in the killmail, and not the player who's wreck I allegedly shot? If what you said did occur, that I shot the wreck and not the rat, then the rat would not figure in my killmail, at all.

The dead rat is a minion. The living one, the scavanger joined in as concord shot you.
Only people that activated offensive modules on you appear on your loss mail, as you said the player that created that wreck wasn't even in the belt at the time, he is not likely to be on the mail.

nope and nope a wreck cant shoot back so it wouldnt ever be on the killmail and the shansha shot at you so it got on the killmail lol i have seen tons of npcs on km's kill mail lists those that "agressed" you in the loss wrecks cannot agress.
