Agallis Zinthros Amarr Altruism. Avarice.	Posted - 2009.08.25 23:51:00 - [1] In a stunning turn of events, Mostly Harmless has been permanently ejected from the Northern Coalition until further notice by a majority vote called by Razor--RZR. Reasons cited were the incompetence in management and PVP, after an evaluation by TCF and MM found that Mostly Harmless is utterly incapable of holding its space against a serious threat without NC intervention, and is wasting the coalition's resources, especially considering the broken nature of its ship replacement plans, which are well below par for the NC. TCF has expressed some displeasure with this outcome, and has threatened to voluntarily split from the NC. However, it seems their threat has been ignored. Effective downtime, all MH pilots will be set red by every alliance in the NC save for TCF, and a cap fleet has been moblized to reinforce all their high-end moons in Pure Blind/Fade/Cloud Ring over the next 72 hours. Cry Havoc, Ev0ke, and Sons of Tangra have expressed interest in Fade/Cloud Ring, and will attempt to muscle in on the MH moons when/if TCF attempts to claim them in a bid to block these alliances, and Avarice/Maru Ka'ge muscling in from the eastern end of Pure Blind. Gentlemen, if TCF goes red against the NC, I think this might just start the Third Great War. It's not piracy, its surprise PVP.

You can't have one monstrous entity which dominates the North long-term without it having a major impact on all the entities within. I think the NC has been an exceptional success and I think while the coalition should continue to exist as a defensive pact to protect Northern alliance members from a major invasion, it should not be the iron girdle that protects individual members from the prospect of earning their right to hold space in the North. For too long the NC protected weaker members who without the need to fight for what they had became weaker and when exposed to a significant invasion crumbled like a house of cards. NC should have a 1:1 policy that NC will not interfere in wars waged on individual members unless they are under threat due to numerical superiority and at best the NC would help them "even up the fight" and not just wade in the 1000 man fleet which crushes the opposition. Natural selection breeds stronger warriors, getting individual members used to fighting to hold their territory is a good thing. You just do not want to reward those that stab the coalition in the back whenever they are engaged in major wars.

Also, it's very difficult to remove anybody from npc space, especially when you're busy patting yourself on the back because a now nearly 3000 char alliance is managing to get 80 people in a pvp fleet during your primetime It's also funny that apparently we lost four times as many members as we had even at peak "overnight", we left MH one month ago (not two), and Avarice never wanted to be back in MH. Ever (SOLJA was still trying to recruit our members after we were booted). You also mentioned that we've "failed taken" any sov two seperate times. Your post fails overwhelmingly and your emo tears are delicious .

I miss bullying their guys. it takes a special kind of alliance to have an orca and carrier in a belt mining with no scout next door, then warp another carrier in to try and help the obviously doomed carrier and lose that as well. Then a few days later to lose another carrier and all support to 25 hacs on their own station and only have the 2nd one saved by a 70 man MH rescue gang that didn't kill a single one of us. 0.0 was just a bit too much for them i guess. all the best guys, i'll certainly miss you!
