I love laughing at people and openly insulting them when they get owned by their own epic fail.
For example, I was in Geminate last week in a ratting drake (no point just tank) when a sabre jumped me at a belt. It wasnt the fact that he had no chanc at all in taking me down, it was that in dropping the bubble on me to prevent my warp away, he also prevents his own.
Pop goes sabre, and for added lols, his warp buble has also trapped his pod for me.
Deservedly so, I ridiculed him when his sabre went boom, and then convoed him after podding his ass, thanking him for his assistance in the pod kill. http://www.ihana.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=3594215
So, with that in mind, I felt it only right to talk about my own epic fail which happened just moments ago...
I'm one of thousands of eve players who plays multiple accounts at once. Today, I was Klaus on one screen, and my other pvp nublett on the other. While Klaus was safely sat outside station in a 0.5 system, I was generously explaining to a belt ratter why he should emo-rage delete his character after getting killed by high sec rats due to flying himself into a cluster of roids and getting stuck.
It was made all the more funny from my point of view because he was stuck for a good 3-4 mins while they slowly killed him - throughout which time I kept the hapless ratter company with my suggestions and observations.
Meanwhile Klaus was drunk at his control panel and hit autopilot, heading towards Jita. Once I had finished ridiculing the happless ratter, I switch to Klaus only to discover my latest pewpew toy is being brutally ****d 15km from the gate in New Caldari.

Faction fit worth about 2b or so pop. Woot, almost as epic a fail as the loss of an almost identical setup I self destructed a day ago - having to forgot to switch the self destruct off.
But wait, I own myself further. Seeing that a few mods survived I scramble to the nearest station, grab a caracal and head to pick it up, hoping some passing noob hasnt just creamed their pants and found the wreck.
Sweet! got it all, happy as larry warp to dock at the station to drop it off and come out of warp 1,300m off the station, which also happens to be outside the docking ring.

So, sat there in my pod absorbing the self ownage a familiar name comes on the overview. 'hmmm, I know you.' I thought... Yep, to round off a super day of self ownage, that ratter I had been griefing just moment earlier on my other pvper must have had his clone in that system, and at of course that station and helps himself to the remainder of my loot.

Haha nice, thats pretty funny. I have a story of my own, not as good as your's but oh well
So im in FW (amarr milita), its late here just before downtime and its been a wonderful day of owning minmatar fleets. I have my brutix in Auga and decide since it has been quiet (no minmatar fleets seen in the last hour) to haul all the loot from the station back to tuomuta, the nearest high sec system 2 jumps away. Dock, grab loot, undock, while doing this i note about 14 in local, but Auga is always full of inactives and it was just before DT so i did not worry about it.
Regardless i have my friend scout for me just in case. As i undock i look at local and it has dropped to 3. 11 wartargets, which i immediatly assume is a fleet, is gone. I quickly ask my friend who had just jumped into kourm from auga if there fleet had jumped in there. 'No, there are a few wartargets here tho'. I assume 'a few' means 2-4 so i warp to the kourm gate and jump through.
Check local - 12wts, start to regret jumping in but there is nothing on the gate, i take the time to check the names of the wartargets, at least 5 were the same players from Auga. The following convo with my friend went something like this
'I thought you said there fleet wasnt here!'
'Its not'
'Yes it is, there is at least 5 players from Auga in here, it has to be there fleet'
'i was sitting on the gate the whole time, nothing jumped through, i was even on the auga side for a while'
Oh i think, nothing should have jumped through then if he was there for a while
'How long is awhile' i ask anyway
'30secs to 1min'
My instincts said warp to station, planet, anywhere but the kamela gate. Something else which i assume to be the stupid part of me thought 'omfg lets freak out now and do soemthing dumb', and warped me to the Kamela gate, knowing full well that that is where all the wartargets will be. I guess i just took my friend's word for it. 11 wts on gate, quickly align, make sure im in jump range, maybe they won't target me and expect me to jump, almost get it but i get scramed, jump and there is a malediction waiting for me....Sad panda watches as a vulture and other ships appear to kill me and all my lootz.
I swear i almosted slapped myself for being so dumb. The thing that confuses me though is that they got into kourm and off the gate pretty darn fast with all the heavy ships they had (BC/BS). My friend had arrived on the gate about 10secs after i undocked and jumped through while i was aligning there im guessing. It was something like 3-4am his time so what he though was 1min, wasnt :P. Oh well i was angry at myself the entire night, stupid me :(

Here's my own facepalm moment:
I was running 2 characters who happen to be in different corps. My amarr character was in a small group and we were hunting war targets. We needed another toon who can run locater agents so I undocked this character and sent him to the nearest station with a locater agent.
Well **** hit the fan and some pew pew happened on my amarr toon. Evidentially i forgot to dock this toon and a wartarget of his rolled by popped my shuttle and my pod.
I tabbed back to this toon to find him in 0.0 (that's where my clone point was set to still) and one of my friends in this toons corp was about to attack war targets and needed assistance. I was ****ed for getting podded but said 'f' it i can set my clone point to 1 system away from my friend and pod myself out there. So i undocked in my ibis, eject and set the pod self destruct timer.
Guess what i forgot to do there? yup.. update my clone. Lost HALF of Battleship 5. I didn't even realize that i'd f'd up that bad till i went to hop in my Golem and it told me to go **** off for 20 days or whatever.

My own story.
I used to do a fair bit of suicide ganking with a raven and my alt in a hauler. Ran outta sec status, so I had to stop for a few months. Alliance I'm in fail cascades something fierce, and think to go get a few more hauler kills.
Unfortunatly, I had a 'Briliant" idea. Instead of having the raven remote sensor boost the hauler, and have the hauler scan out people, why not use the hauler to RSB the raven, and he can do it. GENIUS!
Find a hauler carrying a Gallente Carrier skillbook, worth 450 mil, nice target.
Pop him, oh yea, skillbook dropped, scooped, align, warpscramed? Jammed? Pop.... Concord didn't like the RSBing a criminal. Sat there in two pods wondering WTF am I gonna do now, that skillbook dropped again.
Jita alt! Log him in and start burning, only 2 jumps to go. Little merlin with a 10 day old pilot slowboats to the wreak, scoopes everything and leaves....
