If your time 'exploring new lands' was anything like mine, I'll see you in a couple of months :)
If not, take care. .

N'fran, Best of luck to you in the future. in my time in EV i always had the utmost respect for you, for your efforts, for the time you put in for the members for everything you did to help EV and its members advance in the game.
It is truley a shame to see a player like you leave this game and i can only hope you will come back and enjoy the game as much as you did back in the day.
again, best of luck in the future, you sure as hell deserve it.

Farewell N'Fran.
I certainly enjoyed the time playing with you a lot. Funny to think back how once we had our little difference and then at all the months afterwards.
Games like eve need people like you to be a better place, thats for sure. I wish you all the best for the future, be it in games or in your life and hope that someday somewhere else we may meet again.
Respect, Etienne. |

Have fun whatever you do in the future. I was VERY close to joining your corp about a year ago. To think I ended up in OC instead Goes to show it's only a game after all I guess.

Dear N'Fran,
It was a pleasure working and talking to you during your time in SA. I do wish you the best in your future adventures...
However reading your farewell I note that you say this is your first gaming experience. Speaking as a veteran gamer EVE is something unique. From early beta I bought into this game for its vision and concept. Something i am sure you have grown to admire and enjoy. To this regard I would ask you to reconsider leaving us entirely. EVE is something special being created in gaming history and your one of those chosen people who got on board early.
Anything thatĘs this good is going to be addictive. The secret is in moderating that addiction. I feel the pain of playing at the highest level of mega corp. Where you spend more time telling people how to play the game then playing it yourself. The constant need to be online to keep things moving.
As I am doing myself I suggest to you a carrier change. EVE is about carriers, we both chose the high stress life of Directorship of visionary expansionist corp's. Take it down a notch, close those channels, play solo for a bit on some pet project. Let your life control your EVE play rather then the other way around.
Then when you have things the way you like, the way you can handle. Set back up to the plate.
Hell if you managed to keep a job while doing those 80+ hours a week corp work then the subs are going to be a small fee for the entertainment of watching a galaxy unfold and evolve before you.
"Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family, Choose a ****ing big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchase in a range of ****ing fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing sprit-crushing game shows, stuffing ****ing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, ****ed-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life."
But do it while playing EVE with us....
Best Regards,
Taurequis
P.s In summary don't go.
P.p.s Yes i am still an EVE fan boy.

N'fran, My good friend, it is truly sad to see you go. You were a great leader and you taught me a lot about eve and how to lead with integrity. Flying with you (when you got out of the station) was some of the best times I've had. Thanks and good luck mate :)
