Edited by: N'Fran D'Larn on 15/10/2004 06:18:49 I know that a lot of you won't remember me, that a lot of my old friends from beta and up until the last couple months have moved on, God knows I've watched many go, but I wanted to say farewell to those of you who are still here and adventuring in this awesome world.
I want to thank all those who have made EVE such a great experience for me. Those who I laughed and died with as we built and then rebuilt EV and those who I fought and died with in battle. I want to thank all of you who were honorable opponents and comrades in arms in brethern corps.
I have to admit, EVE was my first gaming experience and I jumped in with both feet. Somewhere along the line, I became a power gamer. I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit the multitude of 80+ hour weeks I played, but i had the time and I was completely addicted. Got to love complex and smart games
As a (near) founding member of Everlasting Vendetta and former CEO, I'd like to think I squeezed every opportunity the game has to offer and what a trip it's been. I was afforded the privilage to explore every aspect, from deep space mining to the hardest spawns to hard core 1 vs 1 and fleet PvP to leading one of the premier corporations in EVE to date and I don't regret a minute of it. We had great triumphs and agonizing defeats, but through out it all it has been the spirit of my friends and comrades which made the experience worthwhile.
I did my best to play with integrity and treat my fellow gamers with respect and a positive outlook. I was a feverent advocate for CCP policing the negativity in the forums and I hope that they continue to keep everyone's focus on playing the game instead of trying to out-mouth each other here. I also encourage everyone to keep things smack free - cause that is where the honorable kill lies. If I kicked yer butt, or vice versa, that sort of speaks for itself and that has always been where I like to keep it.
My account will remain active, but it's going into mothballs and long term training as I explore other lands. Perhaps I'll return someday, if so I hope to see lots of old faces
My bottom line, and those of you who know me know I'm all about that, is that while I have made enemies, I'd like to think that I am leaving with most everyone's respect at the very least. The battles were well fought and the goals were true. Cheers to all of you and I encourage everyone to play with respect for your fellow gamers.
Logging out.

It was always a good time flying with EV, best of luck to you in your next endeavour *coughs*WoW*coughs*. I can't imagine that anyone doesnt respect you for what you put into EVE and what you got out of it.
Catch you on the flip side. (Oh, and IBTL)
Originally by: Sochin CCP has provided you with the tools you need to avoid crime. You're just too lazy/stupid to use them.

Not that you even remember me N'Fran, but once upon a time i was part of an hour long debate on TS of which you were chairman, and i was impressed by your professionalism and enthusiasm. You have my respect sir. Good luck in your endeavours.
