Took me some time to adjust to the UI way... once I had something opened already like a corp hangar or deliveries, I would shift-click on the ship and open a new *separate* window of the ship's cargo-hold... meh... not working anymore. Now instead of opening a new window, it closes the one I already had open.
/facepalm
On a different but related note, it would be nice if an option could added to the "Deliver to" right click submenu, to sent stuff to active ship's cargohold. Right now the options are:
* Deliver to -> Member * Deliver to -> Corporation Hangar -> (choose hangar)

Well... I tried again on another account (picking up some deliveries):
1) Docked 2) Double Click the ship to open a UI window -- check 3) Expand to see the UI tree --ok 4) Click on Market Deliveries to see the deliveries on this window -- ok.. fine so far 5) Shift-Click the ship to open 2nd window so I can move deliveries to cargo-hold .... fail no worky no more. It doesn't open a new separate window *and* it closes the UI window I already had open.

Yup... noticed that as well... another click per pickup... open used to be the default.
I'll ask corp-mates to check the shift-click and verify if it's just me...

Nope... something got changed... corpmate just confirmed and gave some more info.
If the UI window was opened originally by double-click on the active ship at the ship hangar, left-shift-click on the active ship at ship hangar will close that window, even if the window is being used for some other location.
I was picking up deliveries just before DT and it wasn't like that.
Now, If you open a UI window using something other than the active ship (Eg, open cargo-hold of different ship at ship hangar) and then left-shift-click on active ship, a new window will be opened. But if there's an existing UI window that was originally opened by double clicking the active ship, that one will get closed when you left-shift-click.

Iow. It thinks that the cargo hold is already open in the window you're using and thus it toggles that window off instead of opening a new one.
Worst-case scenario is that you'll need to do a GÇ£reset windowsGÇ¥ and/or clear cache to make it figure out which window is which again.
Yup, you are on the spot... I opened the settings and configured key 'c' as a shortcut to open the active's ship cargohold. I tested, press 'c' and UI opens with the active ship's cargohold. Press 'c' again and it closes... cool, but...
If I opened an UI to see the cargohold of the active ship and then used that UI window to see something else (corp hangar / deliveries / another ship's cargo-hold), then that window should not be considered the active ship's cargohold window anymore and should not be closed.
IMHO, windows have someking on "handler" that gets assigned when the window is opened but is not updated when you use that UI window to see something else. |
