We recently had a new member join our corp. Our corp faction with Brutor is 6.75 but they're unable to use agents at that level. Is there a delay in new corp members getting the use of corporate faction?

shouldn't be. have them try logging off. keep in mind after 7 days their standings with corp/faction will take effect on your corp thus bringing it down if theirs is lower than the corps.

A character in a player corp can't use the player corp's NPC standings to access agents. All that a player corp's NPC standings allow is access to jump clones as access to anchoring POS's in 0.4 to 0.7.

yeah, the wording on agents is terrible. its the characters own standings that need to qualify for the agent, even though it reads as you interpreted it.

The phrase "needs a personal, corp, or faction standing of 6.8 to use this agent" means the player must have a standing of 6.8 or higher with the agent, the agent's corporation, or the agent's corporation's faction to be able to use it. So in this case, the player would either need Minmatar Republic, Brutor Tribe, or specific standing with the agent. The player can get agent standing by fleeting with someone else running missions for that agent, and will be able to use the agent once it reaches high enough level.

Ugh! That really sucks  I thought your corp standings were the go. They should really re-word that because it is very ambiguous.
