The guild 2 is officially given up.
The problem the reviewers complained about has now caught up with me, the longer I played the more it would crash until now when my last save game won't even LOAD before it crashes.
Not *one* of the patches I downloaded will install so whoever made this stinking pile of **** can frankly suck my ****.
The only thing worse than a **** game is a game thats released so buggy it's actually unplayable.

If bugginess is getting you down, you can find player-made patches which work very well, and fixes most bugs, on this site http://forum.jowood.com/forumdisplay.php?f=423 . If you look around the modding section, or ask, they can help you with bugs

hey jonny :D
only game I can think of is Command and Conquer Generals, and play as the GLA, with suicide troopers..
I do not know if you like turn based games much, but Galactic civilizatons 2 with the twilight of the arnor expansion is great, includes death star type weapon called Terror Star which can wipe out a whole solar system :P

I've been having a pretty damn good time this this game that seems to take every good mechanic from your standard dungeon crawl and rolls it all up into a shiney flash package.

Single player: Dragon Age Origins by Bioware, released in November. All your actions be it good or evil have consequences on the game world and characters in it.
PvP based MMO: Aion by NCSoft, released this month. If you don't mind the Anime look while ruining other peoples day it's a lot of fun. I have been playing in the betas of this actually and there has been lots of good fights, small group pvp and even blobs lol. Has well balanced classes and the game is very polished, also dying does have some negative effects too...did I mention you have wings?
Of course Mass Effect 2 will be one to look out for but that's a while off yet

Hush, don't say November. Slated for October release! Don't wanna wait any more than I have to! Preordered the Coll. Ed...cannot wait! Will hopefully have Alpha Protocol to keep me occupied till DA:O! Originally by: Stargazer Monk Of course Mass Effect 2 will be one to look out for but that's a while off yet
I know! But isn't it like October too? Or at least Q3-Q4 2009. Do you know if it's still the case that we'll be able to import our 'Sheperd' from ME1? -------------

Yeah Dragon Age looks great...dark, gritty and brutal. I am really looking forward to that one.
ME2 release is early 2010 apparently and yeah our Shepard from ME1 can carry over to the sequel. Mass Effect was planned to be a trilogy so they will probably carry over to ME3 too.

Have you seen any of the teaser footage/reviews? Got any feelings for which origin you might try first? I should probably finish off the 2nd playthrough then, if only just to get Shepherd up to lvl 60. I think I played Vanguard/Shock Trooper, would really rather try something different. Anything with Lift and assault rifle is probably the way to go -------------

Also if you have interests in action adeventure i'd try Prototype, that game is amazing! Definately for plundering just about everyone, tanks, people, getting to consume them is awesome

and yes i'd have to agree the total war series is awesome! I love them all

What is total war? I've got some friends on steam that play it, but I never actually got around to figuring out what it really was..

I bought this once, thinking its a great game i'll try it out!
Only to find out its probably the most advanced game i've ever tried with ZERO tutorial function.
It took me a day to figure out how to repair my damn ship, it can **** off, it can **** off to hell, I demmand a tutorial that at LEAST tells me where I can buy ****, sell **** and repair **** i mean godamn what ******s made that game?
I'm sure it would be great fun if I could understand it, but i'm not playing through the entire ****ing series of games to learn how to fire my rear boosters.
Obviously you never played Battlecruiser 3000AD.

Prototype: Crazy fun. Vampires: The Masquerade - Bloodlines: Still gets community patches, gets better every day. Play Malkavian and you'll pay me 1 billion ISK. Mass Effect: Bioware, do i need to say more? Neverwinter Nights 2 and MotB: One of the best RPG's of the last decade, better than ME and VtmBL in most cases. The Witcher: Pretty good.
