Honestly I think there needs to be a set of TierII Ewar and Utility drones, and then the tier1 ECM drones weakened a bit so that the tierII ones aren't overpowered. The rest (Target painter, web, sensor damp, turret disruption, etc...) are fine for tierI, but lack an badly needed upgrade to tierII.
The tierII EWar drones would get the standard TierI -> TierII upgrade.
20% faster MWD velocity.
20% faster orbit velocity.
20% more armor, shields, and hull.
20% more to their Ewar effect.

This. Web drones are fine, and there arent small or medium ones for good reason.
If they were fine you'd actually see them occasionally. In 2 1/2 years and hundreds of fights I've never seen web drones used in combat. I agree great care should be taken in a buff, but right now they're so useless they don't even qualify as a niche item for use in special cases. They may as well not be in the game at all.
Same goes for NOS drones in their current iteration. They were never more than just okay, but after being nerfed they're just worthless. I can't imagine a situation where you'd rather have neut drones than the damage-dealing variety.

We've once ganked a nano-sleipnir using a nanodominix with drone nav computers and web drones, ages ago. That was funny.

Yay! Boost web drones. And t2 variants is a good idea whoever said that.

So when you get a curse or rapier that isnt fully nanoed your able to web it with these. Mwd to target and once scram is activated - Pull web drones and launch damage ones. I believe thats how if ever they are supposed to be used atm.
They do however need a boost. Gimme some t2 web drones
