Hi all.
Has anyone ever figured out what the most central system is in Eve? Central as in the one that is the most equidistant (jump-wise) from all the systems on the edge of empire space?
After having a quick look, I think it could be a system in Sing, but not sure which one... or even if that's the right region!
Any suggestions?

Looks pretty decent in map also 
But this method doen't take into account number of jumps, only distace on the eve universe 'grid', doesn't it?

Jumps have nothing to do with the "Centre of the Universe". You're thinking of the Centre as the system which is the least jumps from each edge of the universe.
That's exactly what I'm thinking, as that was my original question...

Well duh, that's why he's asking the question. If there was no unevenness all it would take to answer the question would be for the OP to plot a course to a single edge system. Instead, he realizes that the problem is more complex than that, and posted the question.
The System X would not be closest to every edge, but it would be at a median point.
A median point, very well put (he said, desperately trying to un-hijack his own thread and get it back on topic!)
It's something I'd like to work out, as it'd be a useful place to have a stash, as I tend to flit about quite a lot.
