Central as in the one that is the most equidistant (jump-wise) from all the systems on the edge of empire space? After having a quick look, I think it could be a system in Sing, but not sure which one... or even if that's the right region! Any suggestions? Squeaks

If you can get the map in a format like xml or something else thats common you could run it through a program. There also could be multiple system that are at the center.

That's exactly what I'm thinking, as that was my original question... The problem is the way eve is built, there is no system that is closest to each corner of the universe, there are many systems that share the same number for jumps to one side and another, but then other systems beat this one from top to bottom. If there was no unevenness all it would take to answer the question would be for the OP to plot a course to a single edge system. Instead, he realizes that the problem is more complex than that, and posted the question. The System X would not be closest to every edge, but it would be at a median point. -----

I mean every thinks it's easy, as they only notice the standard walls and roof and figure that is easy to clean. The first few dimensions are the cheap ones. It's something I'd like to work out, as it'd be a useful place to have a stash, as I tend to flit about quite a lot.
