Xej	Posted - 2009.08.30 15:55:00 - [1] Hi i didnt know where else to post this so please forgive me if i am in the wrong. I click on eve icon on my desk top. The game begins to load with the beginning screen. Then the load stops. (am a bit confused on how to say this) I click on the game on the toolbar. However the game wont show. I went to task manager to see if the game is actually using memory and it is. (this is where it gets emotional) I cant seem to figure out what the problem is.

As much as I hate to say it, you may have to uninstall and re-install the whole shebang. Hopefully you downloaded the whole installer, instead of using the auto-patcher and whatnot - otherwise, you're in for a bit of a wait. Or, you could always try the error-check for whatever drive you have the game installed on. I can't remember exactly where it is on XP, but on Vista it's under Computer->right-click the drive->properties->tools tab->error-checking->click the "check now" box. It'll ask you what ones you want to do, check both of the boxes and hit okay, then restart your system. it'll run the check, then start-up normally and tell you what, if any, bad sectors that were there and got fixed.
Xej	Posted - 2009.08.31 05:39:00 - [10] tried uninstalling did.. you dont understand its not even on task manager anymore. Its not even loading like it did before. Now it just stay for a split second and its gone. i know the eve devs dont care they got their 20 dollars from me...

Try making sure the /Documents & Settings/%user%/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/ folder is deleted. --- DesuSigs
