I've teamed up with a buddy to start mining in 0.7 space using our secure containers and indys to haul them, but the problem is we can't seem to find any 0.7 systems that have good ore that are remotely close to good places to sell it. We've been doing Scordite in the past, and were wondering if this is the best ore to pursue in 0.7 space.
Basically, we need advice on how to 'set things up' to be efficient; what ore go to after, how many jumps for collecting the ore is acceptable, etc.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about selling the refined components rather than the straight ore? Is that feasable for a 'starter' miner?

What technique do I use to establish a bookmark to a spot in space where there is nothing? Or where I am currently at?
I constantly hear people talk about how they'll set a bookmark 15K behind a station and when they warp in they land right on top of it; but how do they set a bookmark in the 'nothing' behind the station?
