Robey, whilst it's sad to see anyone leave - it genuinley sounds like you need a break. Harbouring this level of hostility is not only unhealthy, but misguided.
All the RKK I know are thoroughly decent chaps and chapesses, DB especially.
Hope to see you back at some point, perhaps to lock horns again.

Very few ever attain my full respect; you are one man that has. If I could I would ask you just look for a new facet in eve. New corporation or new lifestyle individuals like you make eve what it is. Putting any other friendships I might have with DB aside, I have always respected you regardless of weather or not we agreed and or saw things in the same light. You have always done what is right in your book, and thatĘs a hell of a mark, itĘs a sign of a man. If you do choose to leave, do so with dignity. May something catch your eye and take your sails far.

I wish you all the best in what ever is in your future. If you ever thing about coming back dont hesitate as you will be more than welcome. I shall endevor to keep your vision for Rona alive as im sure the rest of the corp will.
As for people that are flaming if it wasnt for this man eve as you know it today would be less fun to play by far. Even if you dont like him you owe him a debt for making the eve universe what we know and love.

But, there are times when a foot needs to be put firmly down:
You can't leave that easily Robey. You've done so much and involved yourself in the lives of so many people out there, real people. You want to leave all that behind? Take a load off, sure... step down from the role as a leader, but join us as a fellow pilot of EVE space. MSN can only be used so much ya know, and you can't add everyone to your lists.
There's my vote. Stay in EVE ya bugga!  null

Eve, like everything else in the world, runs on a series of Entropic cycles. We're at the end of an especially long one. One in which has gone months past due for the upswing, one that's grating on those founded in order & creation and not in chaos & destruction.
As I see it (which is usually tweaked) your corp (in contrast to the KIA branch) was created on the aspect of creation. But you've been riding the destruction phase of the cycle, which is more KIA's realm.
Rebirth is Imminent.
If you love what was, what you've created, what could be, why don't you just take some time off? Leave leadership to a capable underling to ride out the rest of the wave, play on the test server and get ready for the next cycle.
I mean, let's be real, I'd gleefully shoot you given the chance, -10 and all. But that's not to say I'll be glad to see you go.
Go for Work, Go because you got hooked up with a fine supermodel, Go because you're now a super-cyborg who has no need for this mortal coil, whatever. But don't go because now isn't so fun. Now is only now, it's not the future.
