Originally by: Chowdown Dude if you are attempting to kick out your FA oppressors don't log in the station. Get a full battle setup on before you log, and log in YOUR OWN safe spot. Then when you login you will not have to face the potential fate of dying before your screen has loaded. And can join up with your fleet at your own pace. You limit your commanders options if you log in TPAR within the station.
If i were CFS i'd take this advice.......

Aye, thats one tactic. The other would be to show up before the battle starts, undock and get in position (worked late tonight so missed the start).
No its not one tactic man, its the only way you can function well as a fleet is to never ever log off inside a station.
You really should listen to people who have fought sice start of the game and not develop your own ill thought tactics.
There is no thing as showing up early if its camped 23/7.

Anyway, yes, Mace attacking FA being chased by SA was certainly an interesting twist .
The official SA stance is to remain nuetral in this confrontation.
The mace pilot was a part of a gang that destroyed a SA BS in out own space.

Sorry but that simply is not accurate (the even losses part).
Your fleet dispersed and fled; Some warped to safespots, some to random areas in the system where many were killed, some fled north through mgo and some actually ceased fire (while being pumelled) and docked. We are still collecting kill mails from the engagement(complicated by the fact that most of the europeans logged off right after the engagement) but we know for certain we lost only 6-7 BS and that we killed at least 16. I expect tommorow I will have a fully tally of kills for everyone and optimistically by next week we will have parsed our entire kill mail collection and removed any duplicates.
Good fight to all. It sounded like a blast and its too bad that other obligations did not allow me to take part in the actual fighting of the battle.

Thats ok Baun. If you don't know the facts, just make them up eh, why should FA change the habit of a lifetime? You say yourself that other obligations did not allow you to take part in the battle.

Lol a post made out of shear ignorance. You apparently have no idea who I am and why I know everything about a battle I did not personally fight in.

Those who were at the battle know who won it and who die or had to flee - there is no doubt about this. The pod ratio was obviously not favourable to DSMA.
Admit when your ennemy was superior. If you can't stand to lose a battle and show some fairplay then change your job and haul water or food at Yulai for npc corp !

TPAR is now under Orion Federation control, after being taken by a joint FA/OF fleet. A beautiful battle.
