Come on guys... 5 Minutes? FIVE. Minutes.

Clear browser cache, cookies and auth'ed sessions and it should go away. Assuming it's an issue and not a spam prevention. (then you are out of luck).

it is indeed ridiculous. if this is their 'solution' to spamming - kill the forums entirely - god help us.

At least then people would have to spend some time thinking before they post and the ADHD squirrels won't remember what silly one liner they wanted to squirt out on a thread, reducing their spam, too.

Erm yeah. in the absense of any intelligent people I'll just go ahead and point out that this is entirely ******ed because the spam scripts will just get put on a 5 minute timer instead of whatever they were on before.
Why dont you make it 6 hrs between posts we can all really 'think hard' about our contributions then. On the way to not bothering at all.
This is the stupidiest solution to a non problem I have ever witnessed in twenty years of BBS use.

Given that there is a pretty big window of oppourtunity that the loggers usually spam in when the mods are asleep probably all of them eventually.

Well ccp can change just those forums to the normal delay and still keep the overall effect of blocking the majority of every subforums getting the same logger at once. Maybe its not even in effect in those sections. Have you tried yet?

Sure, if the keyloggers manage to hack one of us. err... someone who has more than those, they can post all the **** they want... but this is a MAJOR nerf to me and my fellow forumulites, and with our powers combined, WE ARE CAPTAIN FORUMS.. errmm.. we respectfully request that a change take place.
