Hello Fine Forum Travelers,
I have a multi-run BPC, and before I give it a go for a single run, I would like to confirm that once I do a single run, that I will receive the remaining runs on an output BPC once the job is delivered. I have in the past only used BPOs, and I am quite interested to make sure I don't burn up all my runs if I don't set it up to run them all at once.
Thank you,
(p.s. multiple confirmations appreciated, feel free to confirm even if someone else already has)
Cheers,

You are correct. Once your manufacturing job is complete the BPC will be returned to its original hanger minus the number of runs of the items you built.

It will only chop off as many runs from that bpc as you told it to build from it.. so, you should be fine.

Thanks guys, looking forward to churning out some nice items, but the incremental build cost keeps me from running more than one run at a time. Sounds like I'm all set to do them the slow way.

Huh ? I'm not quite sure what you might mean by that... there are no "incremental costs" in EVE manufacturing right now. 2 runs costs 2 times more than 1 run, and that's quite normal. What other costs you might talk about that force you to only build one run at a time because they increase too much ?
Or do you simply mean you lack the funds to build more than one run, and rely on the sale of the finished product to buy the materials for the next run ? (hint : that's not called "incremental cost". If piece 2 would end up more expensive material-wise than piece 1, that would be incremental cost)

Akita's right. It's been a year since they changed it from counting fractional materials when you do multi-run jobs back to the old way of just doing base multiplication on the materials needed for one run.
Edit: grammar. ---

Sorry if this came off as a little rude. I had actually typed up a long-ish post from my phone and my browser crashed, so I went with the super abbreviated version the second time I typed it up. I didn't know about the economic term incremental cost, I was simply referring to the cost to build it per unit (or increment?). So Akita, you are right that what I meant was that I can't afford to do all of the runs at once, and will have to sell off the first item to cover production of the remaining items.
Should ultimately be a pretty sweet profit once I sell everything though.
