We are looking at deploying a new mirror on Singularity every two weeks, starting next week. This will last until Dominion is released.
First Dominion mirror: ETA September 16th.

Oneiromancer! How about seeding supercaps at the station in fd-. Not the main station but the other one in the system. That way when the supercaps undock they dont send everyone for a whirl.
Afterall rumour has it that titans DD is changing. Same with new class of fighters which are rumoured to be mothership-only.

This will definitely be a hassle for people that are still testing on SISI for the tournament. Lots of people have hundreds of test setups in hangars that will be removed when you mirror, right?

I think you can export groups of fittings at once, so just export them all before the first mirror and then import all of them in one go when the next one happens.
EDIT: Buying all the ships/ammo/faction ammo/drones again will be a hassle though, you're right.
EDIT 2: Wait, we already had week one of the tournament and week 2 is happening this weekend, before the mirror. So this'll only be a one-time thing WRT the tournament fittings (on the wednesday before the finals), so it shouldn't be too bad

Would it be possible to seed faction and navy ships as they are being rebalanced too?
Though i think for more effective testing 2.5 weeks woudl be better. This way we can do sov bashing too.

when are u planning on the first testbuilds of dominions being on SISI im guessing as soon as fanfest is over we begin final bug testing and then move towards alte november early december deployment

Some answers to the things that you've brought up:
* Mirror schedule: the 2 weeks schedule is due to our testing requirements and also the fact that we are developing in 2-weeks sprints. At the end of each sprint we need a new mirror to test on.
Do not expect this schedule to go beyond Dominion release.
* Supercapitals and navy/faction ships: we believe we have found a way to make these ships available on a large scale without seeding them on the market. However, this will only be for ships, not for faction modules or ammo. If you *absolutely* have to test faction or officer fittings together with the rebalanced/new ships, we will look at a way to make those available, but we expect feedback from your testing.

Awesome, that's excellent news.
Since faction ammo is extensively used on Tranquility would it be too much to ask that it gets seeded on Sisi as well?

I would have to agree with that one. Faction ammo seems to be a standard in almost all uses these days whether it be pvp, or pve.
But we can live w/o the faction guns and officer smart bombs.

Unless someone is suggesting that a specific officer mod or something is broken. T2 should be fine.
I wanna know how you are doing it without the market; IOW you dont want supercaps undocking 
So lets see. Asteroid belt rat's mechanics spawning supercaps with no faction properties and thusly no ai and boardable? And when there isnt a ship in the belt anymore. It spawns another automagically?

does this mean you have streamlined the mirror process?
as for supercaps/faction ships, interesting, waiting to see what you did there

If it is like the other times there will be a couple of events that spawn officer/faction rats to kill and loot for the mods and a faction ship spawn were you board and dock with as many as you think you will need for testing. This will probably happen with each new mirror or at least the ones where they are looking for feedback on the new ships.

Has a mirror occurred since July 2nd? I see that it was supposed to be going every two weeks starting last week. My account was created a day or so past 7/2/09 and I still get incorrect username/password.

With a two week mirror cycle, I have to ask the question: Will all actions / efforts be reset as well?
I would imagine the answer to be, Yes, but confirmation would be good. I plan to work in the test server on the new mechanics and need to do certain things at certain times if this is the case so as to not duplicate efforts every two weeks.
One of my intents is to conduct alliance vs alliance combat for the purposes of sov control and i am wondering if the new sov mechanics will allow for a comprehensive testing within the two week period, given the current timelines to "gain" sov, unless this also will be changing.
If allowed, I will have 1 corp join DDTesting and i will generate 1 alliance to conduct these tests. I will attempt to setup shop in the providence / catch areas to stay out of everyones way. If i need to make 2 alliances just let me know.
As a side note, is there a place where i should document my efforts for CCP review? I haven't really seen a section designed for that kind information within the testing forums. OR should i not worry about submitting my efforts for CCP notes/review?

There have been some issues with the mirror preparation scripts and while Sisi is running on the first public Dominion build, we will not be able to open the server for public testing until tomorrow.
We apologize for the delay.
In the meantime I will try to put together some patch notes and documentation for the features that will be available for testing.

I may ask something ? When we get a new patch, we dont know what we test. We never get documentation for changes and balancing. The test is worthless on server, if the tester cant have knowing from patch.
So, maybe better would be if the all forthcoming patches contain documentations.

What happens if you're in a Wormhole system at the time of the mirror, will I be just floating in space in the system in question? I hope that doesn't effect items that I need to redeem.
