This guy reminds me of the first corp I joined on my first character. Ended up at war, I'm pretty sure he shot his mouth off to some pirates and got us dec'd. His promise upon joining was pvp training and ship replacement for pvp losses. We get our first engagement of our "war" and 7 people get popped by 2 BSes b/c we were all 3 month old n00bs. His grand plan was to run 20 jumps away after that...then tell us all to stay docked...all the while smacking in local every time a war target appeared....
After our first engagement and the floundering of the CEO and lack of his "reimbursement" for losses, I started training this character...biomassed my first one and have pretty much been solo since. Whenever I get bored to tears of being a carebear I go get blown up in lowsec for lulz. The one corp on this character's history that was an actual player corp was a group of people from another game I was involved with and left b/c their "supreme leader" was a ****ing nutbag.
Maybe I should kick my indy alt from my 1 man corp and go for some lulz and get some payback on all the idiots that like to take advantage of new players like Joe...**** I don't care if the dec costs are 50 million/week, it'll be worth it...especially when the idiot can't even spell, or use the correct words for what he's trying to convey...

Originally by: Compleat Bacon Well, at least Joe hasn't been kicked in the side of the head with steel toe work boots, like I was in HS for shooting my mouth off continually. That shooting your mouth off is a bad thing is something a lot of us learn the hard way.
Although physical pain is definitely a faster learning path than pixel abuse.
Sadly, if Joe is buying isk, there is a good chance the ban hammer may remove him from our perview. But that would be another life lesson for him.
Well in this case if I read Trok right he is selling plexes so there is no violation there.
No, if you have not, join my mailing list "My Reasons" and read part 8 and 9. He flat out told me he bought ISK from illegal ISK sellers. Then the next day after I had reported him and I suspect the ISK was removed by a GM, he tried to spin it into he was "meaning to buy Plex" but had yet to do so.
In short, he did not sell plex or buy plex. He bought ISK, and after I reported him what he was saying completely changed, as usual.

See you in 24 hours Joe, hopefully I can catch you during my sporadic play time so I can say hi.

Originally by: Condylura cristata A total of 12, including himself, though you might be interested to note that he has now set his corp tax to 0.0%
He still has outstanding wars with 3 corporations, though one was retracted at 02:31 Eve this morning, so will end shortly.
He has another dec incoming as soon as the vote is over then the waiting period expires.
When I logged on he had 14 lastnight, before I logged he had 13, now down another...wonder if I'm going to actually get myself killed a few times or not now...

Joe, please shoot at me next time :)
[ 2009.09.18 00:24:02 ] Joe Phoenix > is that all your corp has? [ 2009.09.18 00:24:25 ] Barakkus > sorry bro, no corp it's a 1 man show
...this is all I got b/c like I told you tonight, I'm a 1 man show...and I'm not afraid to die horribly, and repeatedly, that's why my pvp ruptures are all named "free kill". Only reason I waited as long as I did before firing is b/c I didn't want concord to intervene, the dec had gone active like 2 minutes before you undocked and, we all know how forgetful concord can be :)
Besides, don't make me waste days on training from jumping to a clean clone for nothing :)

He may be trying to take the advice given to him and quietly slip away...
Out of all the members still in corp, there's maybe 1 or 2 that log in and don't do much but fly around in rookie ships, mostly hugging stations in Jita...they're really of no interest to me anyways...I think I've only seen Viceroy Jane on with regularity, before I went to bed, Crazy Light logged on, that's about it.

I just wanna blow up Joe (or lose lots of ships trying), but if you want to sit still long enough for me to find you, I could blow you up too :) I suck at scanning down ships so it might get boring waiting for me to find you though :P

Joe, really seems like you want this to all go away.
I decided to look up my old CEO from my first character, he's off enjoying EVE (I assume) in some other corp he's not running...do yourself a favor...do what he did and just take off, join another corp that's never heard of you...lay low...pay attention to how things are run wherever you end up and give it another go later...and for god's sake, don't make the same mistakes you made this time around. You're a 4 month old character, you have plenty of training to do, and lots to accomplish before you try this again.
If there's one thing you really need to take away from this experience, nerd raging and smacking only gets you in trouble, respect your adversaries and you'll go much farther in this game than you can imagine.
I'm gonna sit outside Jita 4-4 like I am right now while you're docked up until you do, frankly, CEOs like yourself give n00bs a bad taste for EVE...and teach them some bad habits...do us all a favor and learn what it is to lead people before you go and do it again. I know you will, you're just not ready for it right now.

Don't give up the investigation! LOL
I sadly gave up on catching him or his corpies due to timezone difference...only time I ever saw him was him logging in and out repeatedly in Jita for half an hour after I would get on in the evenings, and the 1 time we double teamed him in Jita, but it seems he didn't want to take out a rupture in a drake...which he definitely would have had me down pretty easily, I tried killing a drake once in a rupture, it wasn't pretty lol.

Just curious, I don't know if it has been relayed yet, but how did IC end up not in Hydra Allice anymore?

Well I hope it was just pilots and not cap ships. If he got the ships too I'm sure it's a matter of days before they've all been blown up since he can't even tank me in a rupture with a drake lol.

Originally by: Karadan Kaarwen Edited by: Karadan Kaarwen on 08/12/2009 11:53:40 Joe isn't just the worst CEO and pilot in Eve, I'm pretty sure he is also one of the worst people as well. So far, he's displayed the following character traits: Thief, liar, cowardice, deception, self deception, ignorance, ineptitude, egotism, hubris, arrogance, homophobia, intolerance, greediness, self obsession, hypocrisy, insincerity, ugliness, humourlessness, apathy and obstructiveness.
There's more but I'm sure you can all fill in the gaps.
I've found many things he's said have given him away somewhat. He likes others to believe his fantasies. E.G. His mission to give aid to Africa or his in-depth knowledge of genetics and the human reproductive system are obvious tells. He is a serial fantasist. Only people with such an enormous ability for mental gymnastics can be so misguided as to have such an illusion of superiority. He sincerely sees himself as a natural leader with admirable qualities when in reality, everything he touches turns into a calamitous mess.
The problem is, you just can't tell someone like Joe the reality of things. It just washes through him without bumping into anything on the way. He'll continue being the 'victim' whilst everyone else makes up stories about him and generally belittles him.. Only because we are all jealous, mind. It's because of his sheer awesomeness, obviously.
In reality, Joe is between 14 and 18 years old and is the product of a wealthy family. He lives with his overbearing mother whom is divorced from his father. They divorced whilst he was at an impressionable age (probably between 9 and 12) and thus, he has a Cartman complex. His mum's pet name for him is pookie-pie. His dad is a neurosurgeon or fertility expert and his mother does not work. He is an only child and has done very badly in school. His school reports usually say 'must stop daydreaming' or 'is distracted easily'. He is unfortunately overweight and has a skin disorder - probably impetigo. He doesn't have many real-life friends.
I may be way off the mark but I've gleaned much of the above from analysing stuff he's said either on the forums or in Zedrik's blog. I also used a bit of intuition and artistic licence. :) The thing with someone like Joe is that he is easy to figure out because he's so two-dimensional. Someone like Joe will never remember all the lies and falsehoods he spins. It's just unfortunate for Joe that he decided to do this in a forum as uncompromising as Eve online. Maybe it will be good for him. Maybe we'll eventually wear him down so that reality starts to seep into his brain. Maybe we'll see him blossom into a balanced and trustworthy individual.
Or maybe he'll carry on entertaining us all..
Spot on, except he prolly has eczema instead of impetigo.

OK just to recap, zedrik cayne is a ****, lying to your face, and he's obsessed with destroying my corp because basically we're showing you how pathetic he really is, oh and it might have had something to do with me stating that his wife is seriously fat (she really is(, either way we don't care, so you can go and .... ........ (you can fill in the blanks).
Zed's got bigger balls than you do...
