Well a Pub crawl generally comes with rules.
ie - The last one I was on the rule was different pints of Ale @ every Pub (no bitters or loggers).
I am happy to report that that after 14 Pubs and 14 Pints we did not run out of unique Ale nor did we run out of Pubs that were still within walking distance.
We ran out of time 
And well just add in the with a Dev so you will have a Dev keeping you all company in your endeavors 
Make sense ?

You pay for the privilege to go drinking with a dev, when you are suitably drunk said dev either takes advantage of you or your mrs. seem like money well spent to me.

Yeh but as it is the Dev's home turf what are the rules.
The Dev's have to have rules for a pub crawl.
And I seriously doubt anyone does a pub crawl singing the Grand Old Duke of York anymore.

to be honest, i log on before it shows up most of the time. half the time I notice it after the logon has started, and i was like 'nooo i might have wanted to read that!' the other half of the time, i dont care.

You drink until you have to pull yourself by your lips back to the hotel room.
And yes, I destroyed all photographic evidence from my college bar crawls... Or did I??

Unless I misread it, you pay a measly 26 euros and they take you to the best clubs in Iceland, and you get free Brennivfn shots all night long.
For 26 euros. In here, you can't even scratch the surface of soberneess for 26 euros, much less visit several cool clubs, not to mention free shots.
I think the Devs are looking forward to this more than attendants are.

The DEV's haven't had many humdingers lately since they are spending so much time fixing stuff.
So, they brainstormed and came up with the pub-crawl idea as a "legitimate" reason for consuming copious amounts of alcohol.
By doing it in an official capacity I bet they even get an expense account, so double win for them
