I'm glad someone mentioned that Dread Guristas ships use both Gallente and Caldari. To those complaining about the "minmatar" ships, take a look at the Blood ships, those are "minmatar" and look very much improved too. |

Yeah I will so cross train yet another race, complete with a new weapon system just to fly a usefull minmatar cross breed pirate ship?
Then don't use faction ships! You do get the concept that cross training two races is the whole purpose of faction ships right? |

Angel ships? I thought those were "gallente" lol. It looks to me like Caldari and Amarr are the ones that get screwed the most. Minmatar gets Blood, Serpentis, Angels. |

The reason they have good drone skills is because they are half gallente. Your reasoning is completely backwards here. Having guristas be missile/drone makes perfect sense. And caldari missile spamming carebears will have killed so many guristas they can't even run missions for them. Whereas gallente, traditional enemies of the caldari, are in the perfect position to run guristas missions.
And the gila's drone bay is barely larger than the ishtar's. Since it's going to wind up costing way more, that doesn't bother me that much. All the pirate ships are pretty eye poppingly good compared to T1, T2, and even faction navy, although I think the guristas ones have the most useless pirate bonus by far.
But if CCP wants to knock the gila's drone bay down to 375, I don't really see a problem with that either.
