I don't know about you, but 233 datacores per month for 3.58 faction and 1.2 corp standings (or just 3.58 corp,if you prefer) is not bad at all, especiall when compared to 294 datacores per month for 5 very high corp standings in different factions... I'd rather go with the "all Viziam" option, thank you very much.
I think you point you miss is that's what you'd do because you see the isk return as sufficient value reward for the work done, me personally, having done the standings and skills grind for the R&D agents I have now, I really couldn't be arsed doing it again for any amount of isk, there are other things I'd rather do with my time.

Originally by: Necrnemous Negulesco I tend to disagree with some of those conclusions. Fundamental, permanent changes in markets can happen, and I don't have a huge amount of faith the 'self-regulating' nature of free markets - in real life or in an online setting
i stopped reading right there
Seems like you stopped reading altogether. And watching the News. And listening to the radio. Where have you been for the last 12 months, playing Eve all day?
That's quite funny, what we've been seeing the last 12 months is the financial market correcting itself.

Leaving aside the amateur and incorrect views of economics that plague Eve;
The market will correct itself, prices will increase to a point where more Datacore farmers will shift to datacores that have a higher prices, increasing supply bringing the equilibrium price down and at the higher prices less inventors will bother making items that require the datacores, decreasing demand, again reducing equilibrium price for datacores and increasing the EP for the manufactured items.

Dood! Seriously??? Goverments have pumped trillions into the financial market - nothing has 'corrected itself', it's been corrected by state intervention. Which is supposed to never have to happen in our Western, free market system - leave that to the 'damn commies'.
And this correction has still left large sections of our population unemployed, in negative equity, homeless or with reduced living standards. People are entitled to an infettered belief in the free market if they want, but lets not get carried away.
Anyway, off topic, back to the datacores...
Indeed, off topic, and I'd love to sit here and point out why all the above is wrong but I'll just point out that the "collapse" of the financial market was a market self correction and we'll go back to datacores.
