Seriously, facebook is like ****ing up insanely, when yo utry to send a message on msn it basically picks it up, wipes its ass and then throws it back at you. Youtube is anti-buffering, firefox has started deciding which pages it loads, and which it redirects you to random addresses, eve is laggy, and xbox live is upside down. Also, someoen stole my facebook comment button  It just decided 'HA no comment button for YOU'
Those people i have managed to talk to seem to be having the same problems.

I thought it was just me 
net has been really bad the last week or so, went to speedtest.net and was horrified:
while I'm not with the best ISP in the world (Talktalk), this is just silly for a supposed 8MB connection

It is quite obviously the net becoming self aware, sucking down everybody's net speed in order to organize a plan to take control!

I've also been having issues, but only American websites are loading slow/not at all.
EVE is working good, overseas websites are working good. But Imageshack took 3 minutes to load a single jpg, and youtube takes forever to load.
I could check with some contacts to see if a fiber cable has been cut somewhere... |

Sites, youtube and facebook working fine for me (apart from my video I uploaded being copyright protected by Viacom the gimps). My friend had loads of trouble a few hours ago though even though he just lives around the corner.
edit: I take that back, Facebook is being gay and although I have 2 chats open it is displaying 4 chats and not opening any properly.

got **** here as well. noticed slow downloads, even torrents slower than normal.
could you imagine life without the internet? our society would be in total shock, most peoples use at least the most basic things, such as instant messenger or email.
i cant believe i survived the dark ages of the internet, dial up. children today have it so good with all their movies and you tubes and music.
my daughter is annoyed if you tube isnt loading fast enough. the words 2400 baud modem are meaningless to her.

edit_: actually some shock is good. a series of shocks is how one breaks into awareness. pain is also love. life is not just kitty online as many want it to be. thats derailed.
