Seems odd that :
a) _Both_ PIE & AMAX drop there war actions against SMaK within 20 minutes of eachother - Rather makes a mockery of them " Not working " together
b) No approach to DeT / Skutter, and reasons given why, as far as i was aware
c)*cough* SMaK Victor! *cough*

Yes - they're not working together *honest* 
It is of little concern. Probably a fruitless attempt to limit their enemies in space. SMak can make sure they do not get away for long.
I would also hazard a guess - this is some penny pinching scheme for when wars will have to be paid for.

I informed PIE today I had retracted and had no knowledge they retracted until I was told by a third party. You can say all you want that we coordinated it. I think everyone knows I am a very direct person. There was no coordination. Thats PIE's decision to follow suit.
A history of our conflict with SMAK.
SMAK was never involved in any of this before blacksheep began to take part in these wars. They followed us into this war because of a personal hatred of myself.
They had no interest in any of the slavery stuff except that one of them said he was anti slavery in his bio. You could count the amount of times they invaded amarr on one finger. Unlike the real warriors such as FU2, MM, or the other corps that actually engage the Amarr in Amarr.
The fighting style of SMAK in no way reflects on the courage one would think real freedom fighters would have. They stay far in minmatar space, only coming as far as Yulai on nearly all occasions, and ONLY to fight AMAX forces, always targeting myself personally. I get that alot, but more so from SMAK.
They have never taken part in any of the rp engagements. They have never mentioned attempting to rescue slaves.
They never take part in combat with AMAX unless they have AT LEAST twice the firepower and numbers of AMAX. Often upwards of x5 that.
The fact is, they are total cowards who will not face remotely even odds. They do not fulfill their self proclaimed mission as anti amarr anti slavers and take part in any deep strike actions their much more respectable allies do.
SMAK are only in this for one reason, to kill me and to kill AMAX. They never come out in force for any other reason, and they never engage us with anything less than rediculous numerical superiorty.
SMAK can say that they forced us to retract from inflicting losses on us. Losses dont matter, I have said that before. They can say they are great heroes or toot their whistle however they want. But they have ZERO respect from all of AMAX, PIE, and probably their own allies because of their cowardly strategy of never risking ANYTHING.
The bottom line is that SMAK are hollow wannabes and only pale in comparison to the dedication and valor of corps that I mentioned earlier. They are fakes, cowards, and beneath the honorable warriors of AMAX who always fight no matter the odds. Sure we get killed often enough, but at least we risk something.
SMAK do not belong in this war. SMAK have no respect from anyone because they simply deserve none. We try to take the fight to them many times, but all they do is avoid all contact until they can match our number of ships, with battleships. Its rediculous. The fact is that FU2 and MM score way more kills on us fighting with smaller ships and RISKING themselves. So this isnt about losses, its about being sick of a cowardly enemy who talks like they are gallantly fighting overwhelming numbers and still winning without loss..... it sickens me.
It isnt about beliefs with them, its all personal. They just use their anti slave stance as a scape goat for why they are involved, but thats a lie, I am the reason they are involved plain and simple. Anyway, I think I have said enough. It cant get any more honest than that.

Lets see, as far as I can make out we have upset those who believe in racial superiority and slavery for the following reasons:
We fight to protect the innocent in minmatar space from those who would terrorise it;
We tend to target the leaders of those who would attack the innocent;
We try to use overwhelming force and good tactics rather than attack blindly;
We rarely attack pilots in space that is not our own.
Other than the last I would own up wholeheartedly to the above. As to the last some of our more hotheaded pilots regularly travel to the Amarrian empire in their anger against those who would oppress our people. Some of our more experienced travel more covertly to eliminate those who are seen as a particular threat.
It would seem our efforts have been recognised and our enemies fear to face us. They should be warned however, if they keep up their activities we will not be found wanting.
