That's not an assault boost, thats a destroyer nerf tbh, as long as eaf nerf and close interceptors.
/me votes against this madness, assaults are just fine as they are now.

The one who need that boost is destroyers tbh, they lack dps, lack speed, lack tank, and too big to miss them.

The Vengeance don't realy need more speed as it has a nice slotlayout for tackle and can tank like a beast (for a frig).
Thats where the balance is - there is NO perfect ship, and its GOOD for game balance.
If you can say - this ship is the best in its class - balance is failed.

Remove this AB bonus before it goes to TQ! Its a great mistake!
There is no way Jaguar on AB should be faster than Taranis on MWD.
approc 7000 m/s on overheat 5000 m/s without! are you kidding?

Have you tried turning or stopping with a 10mn ab on?
I thought not. It's like a top fuel drag car, except it also accelerates and decelerates like sh*t.
but anyways, all they should do is make the bonus exclusively for 1mn ABs.
Inertia stab and 2 polycarbones - and you can hold the orbit.
