I consider to use a Raven for WH exploration rather than my approved Drake. Most important reason is the Raven's ability to deal max damage using only 6 highs. I'd have 2 tool slots for free. This fact is important because we're in a very small gang (2-3) and everyone has to fulfill several tasks at once. Raven's huge drone bay (for Caldari) helps too. Counting all these facts Raven is Caldari's Dominix ^^
Nevertheless I've some questions left. Maybe someone here has some experiences using a Raven in WHs..
1) Would you use a Raven at all?
2) Would you buffer it or active tank it? (Cap? Sleepers are neuting more theese days!)
3) Torps or cruises? Considering the range some Sleepers are respawning I'd guess Cruise missiles do have advantages. Also vs. smaller targets. Tho WH exploration means PvP too...and Torps are by far better in PvP imo.
4) What damage type is best against Sleepers? Is it constant or are there differences? Btw: that's another point towards the Raven in comparison to a Drake - in case Kin isn't the best damage type..

Eh, what lvl WH's are you doing?
Ever considered a Scorpion? Utterly crap dps but ECM seems to work on most Sleepers. I suppose a cruise Raven would be fine (it's pve after all) but I've never seen em used in WH, and your right, Torps would be pretty useless.
Mostly the people I went (infrequently) with used rr Megas + Scorp + CS team.

The easier ones. Not sure which class - It's displayed as "Unknown". It would be interesting to try one of the harder WH's as well but I guess it's not really doable for 3 peeps.

Interesting idea. Never considered it. But leads me instantly to the question: which ECM? Multi or any faction variant? Last one would be better ofc...

You won't be able to use a Raven with torps in w-space very well: the need for a decent tank means target painters won't really be an option and torps have too short a range without using javelins and rigs. You could fit cruise but your dps will still be a little weak.
Best bet is to get a Nighthawk(or even a Tengu! ) or keep using the Drake until the Navy Scorpion is available after the Dominion update. You'll get a resist bonus and a missile ROF bonus on that ship.

Depends on the range of the sleepers. A Raven normally doesn't need much of a tank because it is 230km+ away.

well, Navy scop will still be low on dps.
But it can AB or MWD closer with torps and still field a monster tank with 7 midslots left. Two of them can RR each other with shield reps.

The first time we did a Class 2 wormhole I took in a cruise Raven instead of my Drake. I went back to the Drake. It's really going to depend on the ratio of sleeper battleships to other ships, I think, but I found the Drake to be better overall.
I use Scourge Fury missiles on sleeper battleships. Since they have a much higher signature radius than the missile's explosion radius I do full damage with them. 7 scourge fury missiles hit with just about the same practical damage as 6 devastator cruise missiles did. Against the smaller ships, regular heavy missiles do better than cruise missiles.
The more battleships, the better the Raven would probably be.

I doubt it will be able to fit two shield reps considering the broken fitting requirements for them, dps will still be anemic, specially with all the abing around. Drake still takes my vote for lvl 1-3 WH, or armor buffered Scorp.

We use ravens in c3 wormholes fairly often - what you really need however, is a ship with remote shield reps. A good buffer (resistance buffer) and a remote shield xfer is enough to keep you alive until they switch targets.
Fit with cruises and lots of light drones..
Lately my Corp has been running 2 ravens like that ( buffer and rr) and an abaddon ( ravens have to pull double rr duty >.> ) but the abaddons dps and range makes up for it.
A note, however- never wait for all the cruisers to die before killing the frigs. If there are bigships present, they will concentrate on a bigship. With only frigs, they will shoot drones.

1 raven in a 2-3 man gang would be fine, use those top two slots to get your remote rep rollin. My corp would usually start a class 5 gang with 2-4 RR scorps/logistics fit Rokhs, and then add Ravens and Drakes for DPS. Scorps do a good job keeping incoming DPS down and breaking Sleeper Spider tanks, but 1) Sleepers target any sort of EW hard. 2) Do not use multispecs, use whatever racials you want instead. I usually fitted 1 of each T2/meta 4 racial. 2 jammers kept a BS jammed about 1/3 to 1/2 the time, better results for smaller targets.
