worked this morning, try now and getting this problem. and i renew by card around the end of the month so shouldnt have run out around the 7th

Same issue as OP...and apparently many other people.
Perhaps relevant bits:
- Account should not be lapsing,
- I renewed with PLEX in game,
- I run windoze 7 x64 (When in doubt try blaming M$?)
- ...
- Profit?

getting same error. interestingly enough, if i put in the wrong password, it tells me wrong password, but if i imput the correct password i get the error. and this msg comes up across all my accounts

login attempted at 15:20 GMT, recieved the handshake error. I booted the logserver, and then my sisi copy of eve.exe to get a log... and lo and behond, it logged me in!

Hi Guys:
I got the same error with Handshake Failed.
So i deletted the Sisi install and recopyed all from the Orginal Eve Client.
After this i delleted also, in the Sisi directory, all Data in the Directory bulkdata.
...finaly, after the Bulkdata had be reloaded (automatic reload after connecting) i can connect on Singularity without errors

(ok i seen that this was not the prob, was to slow :P)

Still getting this error, have not been able to log on once so far. Side note, will you get the handshake error if your account on Sisi thinks it has lapsed?

i can now perform the super sekrit handshake
but the system im in doesnt want to load 
but then again that might be because the server is going down ... judging from the traffic advisories im seeing
could however redeem my 1 unit of veldspar
