Then I logged out and tried to log in with an alt from a different account, and got the "handshake failed". Now I'm unable to log in to either account. P.S. Not sure if it's relevant, but I also had trouble with patching. The game kept autodownloading the patch and saying it was corrupt, so i downloaded it from here; but then it refused to install itself ("BITS service not running" or something after selecting the client folder). So I followed the link in that patch window, and downloaded the 113Mb "manual patch" (linked from the patcher error), which "worked" (except I was only able to log in once).
