I put this on the General Chat channel but realized it may be better here... sorry for the multiple posting.
Playboy Enterprises is hereby looking to enter into a partnership to purchase and copy battleship blueprints. We had such huge successes with our cruiser partnerships that we decided that we should now take the next step.
We are offering partnerships in all battleships and will complete them as demand dictates. Please refer to the following site to see teh cost structure for each ship:

As we understand it, copies take about 1 week to produce (although I imagine it will take us less due to very high skill levels). Because of this, later receipt is why the later slots are so incredibly cheap. Yes, the later slots may get copies after a few weeks, but the price is much less than what a single battleship would cost in many instances. Playboy Enterprises keeps the original, but we only have access to it after all copies are made. In this case, everyone else will have already built (and likely sold) many fleets of ships before we even get to make our first one. So from a business standpoint, you can likely multiply your investment by the fact that you can both sell ships and produce them for your own use at cost.
Payment for these slots must be made in advance. If you need to pull your money prior to completion, we will give you a FULL REFUND as soon as we find someone to purchase your slot. This has NEVER been a problem as the demand for these slots skyrockets after they are filled. You can bet that your slot will double or triple in value as the time to completion approaches. Imagine slot #4 û when you have your BP in hand, you would be able to sell it easily for 3 or 4 times what you paid for it (if you decide to sell it).
We have already worked with dozens of people who previously purchased cruiser blueprints and we are happy to provide references if trust is an issue. If entering into this type of partnership scares you, or you cannot afford to wait, or the money represents every dime you have, please do not enter into this deal. We find that people who have constant fears only make everyone nervous and we would rather deal with people who can afford to do this and can afford to be patient.
If you are interested in any of these partnerships, please contact us. Slots are alreadu filling.
Note: if you have no interest in entering into this type of agreement, we understand and appreciate that. That is no reason to try to derail or flame the idea or those people who want to move forward. Our experience is that the people who criticize these ideas are those who cannot afford it or who have something to lose by allowing our partners to be successful. Our prior partners know we can be trusted, that we deliver results, and guarantee anonymity if they so chose.

Well, we are not interested in battleships at the moment. If you happen to do such a partnership for a Thorax cruiser please send in a trade request on our ingame-website. You can find the URL under my sig.
Also if you sell Thorax BP copies please do send in a trade request aswell

Where have you been Katar? We did a Thorax deal in early May. We're off to bigger and better things! If you still need a Thorax BP, we have them occasionally and the going rate is 22+ million.

Have had a lot of business lately :) Anyways if you have good deals and are maybe even interested in advanced business relations with Tech 5 then feel free to send in a Trade request.
We¦re currently looking for Thorax BPs, original or copy depending on price so if you have a good deal available please contact us and tell us your exact prices.

Hi,
we were in that Thorax BP deal with Playboy enterprises.
I just can say that they are very trustworthy, fast and the best partner you could have for a Blueprint deal.

I'm very interested in the BS Blueprint but unfortunatelly i cant tell you how much money i can "collect" in the next days so it is hard to estimate for me if i can afford it.
Hope they are not all gone.

just a little forwarning to people entering the deal. Battleship copies take a long time 2 copy (i have heard a week, but also 30 days.. not having one i don't know how long it would take). So just be advised

The question always is: Can you make your own original bp in those 30 days or later. If not this is a good deal for those who need a BP for BS, if you can why bother waiting?

Hi,
earning 1000 Million is is somewhat hard in 30 days... And earning ~150 Million is way easier....
And 60 days to wait seems long, but it pays...
In this time you can start hawling mins for "your" new BS's.

All of these are valid points. Many people are unwilling or unable to commit millions of isk for a long period of time and think they can more easily afford an original. Others prefer the small upfront investment with a huge delayed benefit. Consider the tradeoffs:
If you purchase your own BP:
You are committing 650-1200 million isk for one single project. You are then without that capital for a very a long time which makes it more difficult (if not impossible) to participate in other projects (new ships, new BPs, starbases, etc) as they come up.
If you invest in a partnership:
You invest only 80-150 million. You have funds in reserve to dedicate to other projects. While you wait for your copy, you can be mining the huge amount of minerals you will need to build your battleships. The going rate for battleships seems to be BYOM + 40 million. Sell 2 or 3 and youÆve already made your money back. Once you figure in the cost savings from building your own ships at cost, the investment pays for itself very quickly... often within 1-2 days.
In any event, we knew this idea would have a difficult time getting off the ground. Most corps do not have this kind of capital yet, and everyone is looking to acquire a different ship. We are largely indifferent and we will put together a deal for whichever battleship most people want. We are corp of many different races and we will fly whatever we get.

I can vouch for Heff and the Playboy corp, we have done business with them before and have had nothing but good run ins with him and his corp.
as for the BS our corp would be interested in a minmatar bs so keep us in mind when you venture there heff :))

Battleship BP copying takes 7-8 days per copy. This means your lvl 4 partners will have to wait up to a month to receive their battleships. And of course there is always a chance that the proposed changes to BP usage will go through within that time making the entire venture unfeasible. You have been warned!
FYI TerraDyne Syndicate is now offering exactly the same deal as Playboy Enterprises. Having finished our quest for a Tempest Battleship BP single handed (not bad for a corp of 20 players) we're now opening our doors to the rest of the community.

Partners in the later slot may have to wait a month for their copy... but they only pay 70-80 million isk. We think the wait is well worth it, and they can use that month to gather the insane minerals.

Of course the patch on Thursday or the next one may make copies of BPs limited use thus drastically reducing their overall value, then again it may not...wait and see people is good advice on this one I think.
BS copy time for Dominix (same class as Armageddon) is CURRENTLY 6 days with Science 5 but again the 30day copy time is another POSSIBLE change.

We have decided to offer copy protection on our blueprint deals. If the patch limits the number of production runs a copy can make, we will issue you new copies when yours expire (thus ensuring that your slot will give you unlimited copies). Of course, we will have to see if this is even implmented. But we have no plans to take advantage of people. If your copy gets nerfed, then we give you another one. No problem.

It really only slows us down and we are willing to do that for our partners. The deal was written with unlimited production runs in mind. If CCP nerfs copies, then we replace them. WE keep our partners happy -- that's what we do.

A shame neither me nor my company has the money. I would be gladly enter the deal if only I had the money. Anyway, *thumbs up* to you guys, you offer great deals. If ever you go for a BP of a Caracal I would be pretty interested if I have the money at the time.
